Hi. New subscribers here and I love your style. Just popped in to give you a pro tip I learned from interior designers here on RU-vid when it comes to styling shelves, consoles, coffee tables etc. They say to always pair things in odd numbers, preferably 3. 2 pieces of decor look incomplete, like something is missing, 4 is over crowded and just the even number of objects throws things of so pairing things in 3s is perfecf. You won't believe the difference it makes once you try it. Also, varying heights is important, mixing materials and layering from front to back the same way you would from side to side. Also, making sure your top shelf is balanced with the very bottom shelf. Usually they say to place a larger, taller object, just one, on the very top shelf and then a larger, shorter but wider shelf on the very bottom shelf. For ex, vase with stems on top and a box or basket or tray on bottom. It's just a thought I wanted to shade. Thanx for taking us thrifting with you and sharing your beautiful haul.

The clear "vase'" with the hole in it is actually a wine decanter. And try adding a few plants, real or faux to your shelves. You'll be amazed what a difference it will make.

Love this video sooo much!!! Also, if you go to the dollar tree they have books with dust covers, BUT if you take them off the covers areee super pretty for spine decor or even coffee table decor. PLUS it's cheap.

Not to be pushy but: Lightheaded every time you’re in target? Have you had your eyes checked lately? I have an issue with the lights in stores making my vision blurry and making me dizzy.

I am not a minimalist by any means but, does decor that isn't functional not seem like clutter? The concept stunning, the inspiration board, very welcoming. I could never commit to dusting the decor. Also, your hair is stunning

For the cutting board you thrifted you could try adding the glossy thing people put on wood i think it's called a wood stain or something like that. I love the idea of putting different texture canvas behind the couch (i think you can diy it easily) it would look so good. You also should get a rug that's either white or neutral or both. Alsoo the urn freaks me out ngl Also, the blue top makes you glow🌟

Goodwill has great finds. Look for a consignment furniture store… they often have decor too!

I like the vase with the muted colors. I think it looks good. You don’t want everything in a neutral color

i’m loving the vibe of the shelves so far! & i’m not sure if you’ve taken the price stickers off the decor yet, but i’ve had issues with them leaving behind residue in the past and goo gone is a lifesaver for that!

Personally I’m in love with the pot vase thing, I also feel like it does blend in nicely with the more natural tones, like the inside edge of the book if you got books to display that way and it makes it a bit of a statement piece while still looking cohesive. Like it wouldn’t stand out much but it would work nicely to keep your eyes moving across the shelves, especially if displayed on the middle shelf like where you have it currently. The patterns make it feel super cozy while still having a really natural look bc of it’s age. I think putting softer things near it to offset it, like some pampas grass would be absolutely gorgeous
