Thank you Kim! 💛 It was a long first day thrifting but I absolutely loved filming it! I am glad you enjoyed it! (Look forward to more thrift vlogs haha! 😊)
Great Finds!! Love this outlet and love when I go I find lots of lululemon and last time I found 3 Patagonia hats a nike hat and a Polo denim hat all stuck together in a bin that other resellers had already gone through! The price has gone up some but if you look you'll be happy with some bread and butter items you'll find.
Agreed agreed agreed!! I ended up stopping in yesterday and found several Lululemon pieces, some Patagonia layers that had been passed over (the logo wasn't on the front), as well as some designer shoes that just need a little cleaning to make them good as new again! Sending you lots of positivity + hopes for more great bread and butter finds! 🙌
Josh!! I was out yesterday over in your area and saw this comment and had to stop by! 😊 I found a couple things but WOW the selection was wonderful! Also, the prices were reasonable compared to other thrifts in the area and the employees were so nice. Thank you, thank you for the wonderful recommendation! I try and thrift over there once or twice a week just to find different things, but I had no idea you were so close! If you ever have a moment to grab coffee over there and chat let me know! 👍
@martziechic Nice! So happy to hear you liked that one. They have an awesome rewards program too 😄 My schedule is fairly flexible, so let me know when you're in the area anytime!
Ok so I just found a J Crew blazer that’s almost identical to the one you found. The one I found is called Schoolboy. Such a gorgeous piece. Also, the bins intimate me SO much. I’ve never been. I don’t know why I’m so nervous haha We don’t have any on Long Island so it’s a bit of a drive for me. Maybe one day when I become brave enough to concur them haha
Ooo that sounds cute! 😊 also the bins can be so intimidating but my best advice is just to stay in your own lane! Learn the rules at your outlet, put some headphones in, and get centered in on what you’re looking for! It gets easier over time 😊 I’m excited for you to go!!
Thanks for sharing with us love your videos, would you said that the location of the goodwill outlet have something to do with the Quality of items and brands?
Honestly I think so! But sometimes locations fluctuate too! Once I found some high end designer at an outlet in the middle of nowhere, and sometimes at the best outlets I find nothing ☹️ it’s more about consistency, picking an outlet store and visiting often I would say!
Wait shut up!! I heard y'all have better thrifts than here in the tri-state area, but I guess I didn't realize the prices would be high! ☹ In PA they are around $5 for tops and shorts, $7 for dresses, jeans, and shoes, and then around $10 for coats! In this place I saw a North Face jacket marked at $50 :(((
@@martziechic i know it’s ridiculous! I can’t say for all the goodwills, but i shop around Orange County area which is a bit expensive. just this week I saw a basic trench coat for $24.99 and used Zara boots for $17! I picked up new with tags Zara leather boots at my local Marshals for the same price 😂 dresses and jeans here are around $11-15, so idk it does not always makes sense to pick up even Madewell jeans to resell. I’m gonna try the bins maybe I’ll be lucky there 😀
you are so inspirational! i just started my reselling business and love your videos. would you be able to make a retail arbitrage video featuring TJ MAXX, nordstrom rack, or marshall’s? also do you sell on your instagram at all? just curious about this information from an experience and amazing reseller like you!!
Aww thank you! I can try! It gets hard, as I usually try to go when they have sales, but occasionally I still can't find things on those days! I also don't sell on my Instagram, as most of my audience are other resellers, but I am planning on having my own platform soon enough :) I wish you all the best luck, though!! Do you sell on Instagram at all?
I think so!! You just have to make sure you aren’t pressing into the fabric, but moreso going over the fabric lightly! ☺️ It seriously helps- I recently found a Theory cashmere sweater at the bins covered in pilling, and it brought it right back to life and ready to list!
I usually list AT LEAST 10, and if not, I have to have catch up days! That being said, 20 items definitely is possible, but for how much traveling I do to find inventory, sometimes it isn't possible! So most days I source one day and list the next :) How many do you list per day?
