in most of the clothes from like h&m,etc. we also have extra small,small,medium, u name it on the tags so not only numbers in case you’re still wondering ❤

that looked a lot like the fleamarkets here in germany! though its even a little cheaper here, but my city isnt straight up paris so makes sense :D most of the clothes i wear are from the fleamarket (some thriftstore) and i also love finding puzzles with cool art that arent produced anymore

yeah the dude said she was a thief, probably not in a pickpocket way more like in a snagging stuff from someone's booth way. 34 is an XS, 36 is a small, 38 small medium ... sizing in the 90s/2000s was different of course

Les tailles en France vont effectivement de pair (34/36/38…) donc nous sommes parfois entre deux tailles, comme moi à à qui le 34 est trop petit et le 36 trop grand, c’est compliqué pour les jeans. 😅

Sizing differs from country to country in Europe but I would say that generally a size 38 is a medium for reference :) But then since each brand also has their own custom sizing you could be a 36 in one and a 40 in other so it's a bit of a mess lol

yes and then there is Spanish-EU sizing, Italian-EU sizing etc xD the clothes for the southern European ladies runs smaller. so an DE-36 (Germany) is an IT-34 (Italian). and clothes from skandinavian brands often runs bigger in my experience.

I think that "T" on the tag is short for Taglia in Italian, meaning size. 🤷‍♀️ So, size 40. But italian 40, which is not like the eu size 40. 😁 All in all, great finds!
