The redhead Crissy dolls from Ideal with "cut hair" are actually meant to be that way and you were correct, they have a hair growing feature! You should be able to pull the hair from the top of the head and it grows, and then to retract it there is a button on her stomach. My mom had one and now I collect them because they have red hair and really dark almost black eyes, like me. Hers used to be in the box in a closet and I used to sneak in to look at the box because the art was awesome and it said "Beautiful Crissy" and I thought I would be beautiful just like her! They aren't super rare but the shoes are usually harder to track down than the outfits.
Oh I know she has the hair growing feature… I just think the “short” hair looked cut but maybe it’s just an odd style? I really hope I can find one with at least an outfit someday! They’re adorable
I would have yelped at the big Monster High dolls too ! I would love to have them ! Imo, if I ran a thrift booth, I wouldn't display special dolls that aren't for sale. But maybe that's her trick to get people in to look.
I saw a kid walking around in a full on Sonic costume at the flea market this week and thought of you lol. The vibes were immaculate. No crazy finds, but I did get Jane from Tarzan a while ago. I've never seen that movie, but now I'm gonna have to watch it... better be good, cuz I'm stuck with the doll now, she's too cute
OMG girl I walked into work yesterday and theres a new girl that looks identical to you, I had to do a second take. She even wears the same clothes, haircut, voice, everything I was like what the heck😂 Now I see why people always come up to me asking if I work other places, we got doppelgangers out there apparently lmao. When it comes to finding tights for your American girl dolls, you might want to try buying some tights made for babies. Even if they need a bit of alteration to make them fit it would probably be easier than starting from scratch
The doll scen in Sweden is very small and kind of hard to find, would go crazy being able to shop from all of these venders :) loving the vlog and the thrift footage was like a good episode from your favorite show. thanks for letting us see all the fun things :)
Out of curiosity, do you see many garage/yard sales in your area? I'm in Minnesota and I've seen so many this summer! Doll/toy content is pretty hit or miss, but I did score some vintage Barbie clothes patterns at one a few weeks ago.

Awesome haul. I Iove the children's collector series. The Rapunzel barbies hair has an attachment adding the extra length. Her actual hair is only half as long as it looks, but I'm pretty sure it's kanekalon. The fairy barbie is one of my absolute favorites.

Aww, my comment disappeared, and I was so proud to have made it to the end! I would have taken the black kitten too! We lost our black floofy boy Oliver 3 years ago just after we'd moved across the country, and I miss him so much. Our 2 remaining girls fight as he's not there to keep them in line any more... which is sad. As for recent finds, my best was a 70s Sindy in need of new hair for £2 at a carboot sale, and when I looked it up on Ebay sold listings, rerooted versions of her were going for £70, so she was a good find - along with a vintage dress for her that will sell for £20, and the seller gave it to me for 50p! I've been finding loads of Monster Highs as well, and although I don't collect them, I now have 4! And a Winx Club doll, again which I don't collect but seeing them in others' collections has intrigued me so I had to get her when she was £1 (about $1.35 I think)...just, you understand, to see what the fuss is all about! 🥰

The bratz babiez mermaidz have squishy bodies because of a water play feature where you squeeze their stomach and they suck/spray water out of their mouths! (Make sure she’s clean inside incase of mold)

I think it's cool you love so many varieties of dolls. And old ones too. I myself don't get into some of the old ones that you do. But I am drawn to some weird & odd dolls. Mostly only fashion dolls. But I'm kind of picky on those. For the most part, like you, my favorite lines are Rainbow & Shadow High, Barbie & Monster High. A few Bratz. Basically if I like it, I like it.
Ehhhh… I have a spreadsheet that counts to 2000 already and it’s not considering what I believe is almost half of the collection! But I have downsized quite a lot so the number has decreased. Counting My Little Pony (with hair specifically) as dolls I think it’s well over 4000 though!
I hate it :( maybe that’s why I get so many comments telling me I should resell when I find something good and don’t buy it? I’m leaving it for another collector, stop training people to resell 😭 it’s so odd to me
It is kinda funny the timing of this video, lol. My mom and i went to a doll/toy show in Richmond on Saturday, and i saw that massive skelita doll in the box for sale. The seller was asking over 300 dollars for it, but the timing was kinda neat.

Lalaloopsies are so rare to find 2nd hand, I don't know how you didn't buy them unless they were missing clothes and were an extreme price Also, lots of respect for not pushing the seller with the large MH dolls and Bratz cats, and for not showing the seller's name of business for their safety and sentiments ❤
I feel like any time I go to a bigger thrift store I find at least one Lalaloopsy! They’ve been so common in every state I’ve lived in! But I don’t collect the big ones unless I LOVE love them. I only have two and only one was one I specifically bought. I prefer the Lalaloopsy Girls dolls and the minis! And it’s really nothing, I just don’t want her to be harassed. I’m usually really open with locations of antique malls and stuff but I am genuinely worried about how people would act 😭

Rapunzel Story Time Princess was my favorite by far and was actually displayed in my room for years when no other toys ever were! She was my jewel. I played with the mini playmates Disney fairies way more than any other dolls and I only had them for a short stint
One era of barbie i don't usually care for is 80s & 90s. That face just isn't for me. Maybe cause I'm older, so ones I played with were late 70s early 80s. But so many like the 80s & 90s, that's cool for them.
I had a mini thrift haul this past weekend. I found the 2021 Disney Store Holiday Rapunzel doll, and three Valentine’s Day NaNaNa Surprise dolls. My doll luck hasn’t been great lately besides that but I did find a big Bratz haul at Goodwill for a good friend of mine. (Bratz isn’t my thing but it was still really good to find in person.)
OMG! I had the barbie (with the pink and blonde hair and blue + pink dress ) when i was younger , the purple and orange one was actually the doll that got me back into collecting and made me fall back in love with dolls!!! They were at big lots
