Street parking is free on the weekends in Raleigh, you're good! Father & Sons is known locally as a cool place to go look at stuff, but not for that good thrifting experience. I recommend Durham Rescue Mission (the Brier Creek location is Raleigh), Cause for Paws in North Raleigh (there are 2 other thrift stores on the same 1/4 mile stretch of road), and North Raleigh Ministries Thrift Shoppe for that good, non-chain, hunting for hidden gems type of thrift store outing.
I miss thrift giant in Texas( Dallas area) I use to find really nice clothes with tags for cheap. I have not found good thrift stores in Raleigh yet,does Charlotte have good thrift stores?
