Love how humble your kids are and that they don’t mind shopping in a thrift store as many teens would. I once watched a video/report on the high cost of fashion and it was really eye opening. I was aware of the garment industry having dangerous working conditions, low wages, etc. but I was unaware of the dangers associated with growing cotton and the chemicals that they use to produce good cotton and the adverse effects it has on the environment. It’s certainly something to consider when buying new clothing. I’m all for thrifting if possible.

I really enjoyed watching this episode. Last night I went to Ross with my daughter to get her some clothes for her new job in a dental office. We found a lot of nice options.
I shopped till i dropped this weekend! Saturday Savaltion Army had 75% off certain tag color, Sunday i went to the outlet mall and Monday salvation army had 50% off all clothing. I got so many great brands! Im stock piling to list since im off for the summer :)

I think it's great your kids love to thrift with you!! They both have a good eye for it. Rocco was stylin'!! I have two older brothers and growing up the younger of them started realizing where their clothes came from. He asked our mom, 'why do Milton's clothes come from a brown truck(ups) and mine come from a box in the basement?'😅
Have you watched Laura Caldwell?? She's done thrifting in the London area, in Italy, the Paris area, and Japan. She's the first vintage thrifter I started watching about 2 years ago.
Your kids are great and do have great taste and style. Happy to see kids thrifting instead of paying outrageous $$ for clothing. As always Lori you do find amazing stuff and it has to be the area you live. Thrifting is way better out there for name brands. Great video and thank you fpr sharing your family with us!!!
I love thrifting with my big kids too! 3 of my 4 grown kids will go Thrifting with me occasionally. And I also find it hard to say no when everything is thrift store prices. 😂 Rocco’s style is on point! I love how Angie has pictures of what she’s looking for, that’s So Smart!! Thank you for all the valuable information. My sales are also down on Poshmark and I’m currently cross listing everything over to eBay. I think the only thing keeping my head above water is I’ve made sure to follow people and RSVP the Posh parties, trying everything to stay active and interactive, I think it’s working. Regarding sell through rate; one very significant factor I have not heard anyone mention is that when there are many of the same item listed, or saturated, I have found my item is often the one that sells fast. I have received comments from my buyers that they chose to purchase their item from me for reasons such as; my 5 star seller rating, my history of happy buyer comments, or they are repeat buyers of mine. I do pay attention to sell through rate if it will sell for $25 or less but for those quality, higher selling price items I usually ignore it and happily pick them up every time. I started reselling on Poshmark about the same time as you. I now sell exclusively on eBay because life got busy. BUT inventory is getting more expensive and customers want to pay less. The squeeze is on. However, we all keep evolving our business to go with the current climate. We will weather this too😊

Hi Lori, Like the Rocko Shorts / Top matchy matchy that was pretty cool. Ok so on the supreme top I'd list asap. It just seems like it was super hot for a hot minute and now...not so much. I was thinking, if its authentic maybe I'd list for $59 and stay on that at least a month, not sending or taking offers. But that is me. I think at $59 you'd get a fairly quick flip...its just the colors that make me think...ummm not not a high $ amount. But I'm seeing it in a tiny screen too. Ok carry on LOL! Was fun to see the kiddos shopping.

So much with your family, and I'm in agreement with everybody that Rocco is a styling GenZ King, surely he learned his style through years of your thrifting adventures and Christmas bags. Angie had some nice things on her wish list, hope she found them and we get to see her selfies. Can you even believe, I have a NWT Double R Lauren linen Cotton blend, I forget, suit in my closet I found at GW for 10.00!? Real Peeky Blinders style but I cannot sell, I'm thinking that men who would buy this don't need to buy from our markets, they have $$. Any thoughts? Thank you for sharing your kids!
