Thrifting before this and after, I may go this weekend, but yes I recently began doing it again. Like you, I used to go regularly in college and you’d be surprised at how some locations have a great plus size selection. I love it TBH

I’ve been thrifting for my vintage store for a few years now. For about the past 6-7 years I’ve been thrifting for myself! I am plus size and I’m here to confirm with you and P, the fashions are out there! Even the higher priced items in the thrift store are many, many dollars cheaper than the mall and department stores! I love your video!
Yess nice haul! I am a AVID thrifter! I have stepped away from fast fashion and I prefer the quality pieces at the thrift store! Btw, Im a size 18/20 and I rock out!!! I just went yesterday and got some pieces!!

And remember for instance when u purchase stuff at the thrift store like a long skirt you can do things like shorten it and other hacks as well, chop blazers and all!! Good luck!

Honey, you did VERY WELL with this haul. I will be following Thriftin with P and I wanted to let you know that the Paola De Lungo bag starts around 4o bucks on Ebay but new that bag runs about $400 so SCORE for you. When you put the colored bras with the top, I hollered "YASSSS QUEEN" because you did that. My favorite piece was that FIRE classic black blazer. You got a good eye for fashion.

All of these looks/pieces are so fun and cute, I love! The way you put this video together is really nice too.. a whole story and very thorough. One thing I wanted to comment about was that LOGO ruffle hem tank specifically, that designer Lori Goldstein is very much a lady about some layering, so the way you styled it is perfection, exactly what it was made for! That tank was probably $50 off the rack, so any thrift find like that is a major steal. *Ps- I can’t get over the styled look you did with that green blazer.. you were straight out of some high-end magazine, just 🔥 too good! 💕

I like the clothes you purchased. Good the store has a separate plus size section. I seldom thrift shop in my city because plus size is limited and stuffed in with everything else.
I had gone to a CHKD Thrift Store right near there where they had a couple of dressed from Ross with tags on marked down to $9.99, and the thrift store had them for $12.99.
THAT'S CUTE! I love thrifting. I did lose some weight. So I am no longer plus size. So I understand the struggle of finding larger Sizes. I use to hit up the Men's section. So don't sleep on that section. You have to be creative when thrifting. You can even add some extra fabric on the Sides. If you really love A Piece but it's too Small. The Material from back in the Day was so much better than Today's. You did that Haul. New Subbie just because You did that! Lol

I could not afford malls or designers clothes,therefore working as single parent with (2)children, thrifting was the way to go! From learning about alot of well known designers pcs seeking to buy used shoes,Italy made leather bags, & dressing differently everyday from my head to toes! I had many of co- workers tell me daily that I never worn the same outfits more than once per month!I made not had an dime in my pockets,but I came to work everyday looking like an million bucks!And,I still do shop today,at garbage sales,thrift shopping,resales,& consignments places!

The red pants would go great with the long cream or grey no sleeve blouse and printed shirt that you can't button down. ( that way it covers you in the back). Or a nice blouse and your black jacket to work or out. Also everything doesn't have to be "styled".. just wear it. Like the purple sweater. Wear it with black pants to to work, a pair of jeans or leggings. You'll still look Amazing!!

I always wear leggings and a tank top when thrift shopping so I can try items on. Since Covid they have an excuse not to open the dressing rooms back up.
