How fun!! Shawn and I were engaged in 1984 at the falls so it has always held a special place in my heart! On a silly note... for dinner that night we went to the spiral restaurant seen on the Canadian side. The restaurant revolved to give a fantastic view and we had a wondeful dinner. When we got up to leave our table my purse was gone!! Yep, I had placed it on the ledge behind me and it was revolving around the restaurant!! After our kind waitress retrieved it for me, we all had a pretty good laugh! 🤣

I'm so glad you & Irf went to Canada & and saw the amazing falls. I've been once as a child & I'll never forget how beautiful they are. Sweet thrift finds, too. Thank you for another fun and enlightening video. Irf really opened my eyes about looking into electronics and going outside my comfort zone. I used to always skip those aisles. Good day Irf I feel like you Amy, the hearts can make items look " cutsie-cheap" to me. Or too country? But if a giraffe🦒 with stars⭐ are great😁. 2:58 is the first and only cannister set I would have🤩 20's look to it, now I have many other uses I can see for it make up. 🥰I am loving the looks of it😋 ...and Irf scores again. Wow nice finds! And I love the Falls, we havent been in a few years, we wereon the Canadian side, but the NYer's were in the water too, we were waving and air-fiving each other. It was great. When you live in central New York as Rog and I did, a day trip to Niagara Falls was not an uncommon trip. The Canadian side has always been more fun or it used to be be. Now we mostly drive through Ontario to either see Rog’s kids in NY or his Canadian cousins. I had a great time in a Canadian thrift shop with the 20% off and difference in currency….that was two years ago and not around the Falls.

I hope you went across to Canada. The view from there is amazing, especially at night when the lights are on. Stay away from Love Canal area. It is still contaminated.

I think those prices at Good Will and other Thrift Stores are quite outrageous. Just out of curiosity, I went to our local Good Will, Savers and Salvation Army over the last few days. Paying for clothing tops at $6.99 and pants at $11.50 makes me truly shudder. It truly does not serve the underserved population anymore. 😖 Irf, on the other hand, has great electronics insights. Definitely have him join you, when he gets the chance. How long of a drive is Niagara Falls from your town?

Go to thrift shops around your area and I am certain that you will find much lower prices. My thrift shop has a boutique section and periodically 50% off sales….and I buy a lot then and wear clothes I could never afford retail. I joke that the only things I buy brand new are underwear and shoes and that is essentially the truth.

Yep, I don’t get it. It’s like they forgot they were a “thrift” store. Irf surprises and impresses me almost every time! 💕 It took us about 4 hours to get to Niagara Falls. Without pulling the fifth wheel, I bet I could do it in 3.5 hours. It’s pretty close. 🤗

I live here down the street and shop at this one daily. They have hardly anything and the prices are so high I can't resell much. They also add NEW items everywhere. There is a group of us ( 5 resellers) who hit this one. Salvation army and the other 2 goodwill here and it's gotten so far out of hand.

My goal is making money on eBay, and the best/smartest way to do that is by calculating the sell-thru rate… but yes, I often get things that don’t appear in a quick search, because I’m learning to trust my gut.
