Hello! Sometimes it takes some hunting but the Saturday before Christmas there were several between two stores and there were sales at both :) I wish you well on your thrift hunt. Have a marvelous weekend!

That Bassett Hound decanter (I think?) is Enesco. 👍🏻 I HAVE seen the Old Maid card set that matches. I doubt that it is still there, but I look at it every time I go to that thrift store. I am the youngest of 10, and my ex-husband and I have 5 children. All that to say… I love board games, and card games, and dice games, and strategy games, and I adore that you had a gaming Christmas. All of my kids are grown and out of the house growing their own families that come from a long line of gamers. Some of the games we bought when my kids are young are worth a pretty penny. We had TRUMP The Game. Grand Master is a wonderful card game, and worth quite a bit. I am continuously on a search for Grand Master. We wore out the first deck, and I think my ex-husband kept the second deck so he could teach the grandkids how to play. I’d love to find a deck for each of my 5 kids. We played several times a week the entire time they were growing up. Sadly, I have no one in my house that enjoys games. My best friend never played games growing up. I miss it. Looks like a lot of fun will be had in your home on game night!! Enjoy it!

I have five boys, all over 21 now. We always played board games when they were not at play outside. My brothers were many years older and so I did not have anyone to play games with either. P.S. The Basset is indeed Enesco. At the time of filming, I was wrapping it to give to my friend for Christmas so did not nail down the origins at the time. :)

Games were the theme. The only on left to find is Masterpiece. We found a vintage aggravation game, but the box was too odd a shape to fit the game shelf. So, someone else will get to enjoy it :) We did find Clue with the original hatchet. Thank you for stopping by :) xx
