Yes the gold metal rack held records. I had one when I was young. The glassware is what gets me. I love cut glass and any kind of dishes with pretty little flowers on them. I also love the craft section and vintage stuff.

hello julie, i think the metal plate is a pewter mix. it has a stamp from a company in nürnberg/ germany, my hometown. and we g had lots of such plates in different sizes. and pewter plates are used for bratwurste in restaurants there😃

That how I got started making wreaths and floral arrangements for my little "shop" I dont do it to make money its just a hobby of mine. I started making them for friends and family as memorial gifts. I was asked to help with wedding florals and thats when Simply Ellegant Designs was born. You can do so much with very little and no one but you will ever know unless you share the know-how. I love your channel for showing how old or used things can be made into something beautiful with some imagination and TLC. Everything you have done is breathtaking ❤❤

Loved that pewter looking plate in the beginning and the Show Me the Way pewter tray, pewter was known as “poor man’s silver” and love it in my primitive decor. Hi Julie! Welcome back to the land of the living! We really missed you. That was such a great haul you showed us. I caught a glimpse of a maroon sugar dish that I think would look gorgeous as a candle. I remember the diaper holder. When my baby sis came around we didn't have much room. So she had a diaper holder and a bassinet for sleeping til we moved. You have a great day and we'll see you soon!❤

That musical rack is for records. I had one similar, but no musical notes on the ends. My husband has one of those pocket change trays, passed down from his dad. I use the little pie/tart plates to use under my potted plants on my porch. Looks much better than the plastic trays. I also buy ceramic planters from the thrift store. I've even used a chamber pot and soup turine as planters.

So sorry you were sick. I truly understand. I was out of commission for over a month with the cold/virus (whatever you want to call it) when it came our way. It was no fun! I think the brass piece with a music shape on the end is a record holder. - maybe 45's if not albums. Also, I loved that little white pitcher (creamer or gravy boat) with the embossed heart and flowers on it. I was so glad you got it! Blessings, Janell

That table cloth was huge! Such a great way to get pretty fabric for pillow, curtains, placemats and more at a cheap price. I use table cloths and curtains for fabric too.

Glad to see you back and feeling better! There have been so many that have been sick lately, me included🥴 I'm sure many have told you the gold rack was a record holder, and yes pretty sure the little creamer was iron stone. I'm pretty sure that beautiful pink plate was depression glass! Lol yep my mom had several of the metal TV trays! I had the diaper stackers for both my kids, which have their own kids now. You really had A great haul today, loved all the pieces, especially that sconce, gorgeous❤ Great video today, thanks for taking us along😊

I have gotten to the point where I almost refuse to go to Goodwill anymore because of the ridiculous prices. If you go to any other thrift store, the prices are what we are used to and not jacked up. Often times those other thrift stores are church ministries or other charitable organizations that I feel good about supporting as well.

Yes Julie I hear green is the new color I just painted my dining room white with black trim but I have a cabinet in there that my brother built me 30 years ago and I painted the cabinet. It’s like a cubby cabinet mounted on the wall takes like the entire wall. It’s so cute. I painted a sage green and it really makes the room beautiful.

The little rack you asked about is to store & display 45 rpm records. I would definitely have purchased it. I would use it for my old 1950s 45s. My mom had one that I used when I was teeny bopper. I don't know whatever happened to it. Glad you're back. We all missed you!

I had to smile when you were talking about how much you like green, as you picked up a cranberry glass candy dish. I have that same candy dish in GREEN! 😀 It was a wedding gift in 1968. So glad you are feeling better. 💝 BTW, the initials on the brass apple could stand for University of Texas at Dallas.

Welcome back Julie! Glad you’re feeling better. We all went down like dominoes in early November so I feel ya! Takes a while to get your energy levels back and all those chores are just waiting for ya to get there!I ponder as to how Goodwill prices things as well. Mind you- I still find some great stuff for good prices but just the other day, I picked up a mini nativity scene to put away for next year as I plan on incorporating it on a wreath. It had an original Family Dollar sticker on it for 3 bucks but you can get it at your local Goodwill used and abused for 4.99! I said…. Ah, NOPE!

The music note rack is probably for the smaller vinyl records. I used to have a similar one back in the 70s, but mine was triangular.

I loved the floral black meal tray tables. They were very vintage looking and certainly unique. I hope that you bought them. Even to use as a tray in the kitchen or dining room. Or on a coffee table, like you had mentioned. Thank you for giving us ideas on how we can use or display something that we love. 🌞

Interesting format at the end!---Whenever I see baskets at the thrift store, I automatically think of you, & then I spend a few blinks pondering whether or not I'd use it...nope! I have two very large baskets, but that's the extent of my basket lore!---You know that if you hadn't purchased that wall sconce, you'd have regretted it later (you've expressed remorse to us before!), so the purchase price was the exact price to get it home! Sometimes, if I can't decide on whether or not to buy something, especially if I think it likely to still be there the next time I go, then, if I got back another time & that item is still there, THEN I know it was meant to come home with me! If it's gone, well then, someone else loved it just as much as me, & I saved some money.

I chuckled when you were talking abt broken record and i wanted to holler yes its for records lol. So happy your feeling better. I know first hand how it feels cause ive been sick for over 5 months .
