You can never have too many platters. Really enjoyed your having your husband with you today he has a great sense of humor.. I am with you I have to touch things at thrift store, how can you not.
The metal turkey platter looks like pewter. I could be wrong. I saw you looking at the cowboys in Hawaii book. Did you know that cowboy culture started in Mexico?? You probably do, since you're so close to it. Of course you should touch objects in the thrift store. You have to inspect the items!! My only caveat is when my young niece used to touch the candy in CVS. I always told her, nobody wants your darn fingers all over their food!! Seriously!! Thanks for the fun video 😊!!
It doesn't bother me for you to touch things. It helps us to see it better. I touch it too. I mean how else are you going to see the price and the back stamp if you dont turn it over. I collect Turkey platters too! I love when you find one!! I would love to see a video of all your turkey platter collection and where and how much.
Hi, I'm Jen, and I collect Turkey platters. 🙋🏻♀️ Maybe we should start a support group for this addiction! 😄 I'd love to see your collection! 😍 Thanks for sharing that idea. I'll probably do a video in the Fall when I get them all out. Thanks for watching! ✨️
I enjoyed thrifting with you today and yes I touch everything when I’m thrifting too. My favorite item was the pewter turkey platter and the rolling pin Your husband and you are so cute together. My husband is the same he just lets me look as long as I want to. See you next time
Thank you for sharing and hiw can you shop without touching and checking whether you're thrifting or shopping at other stores you have a touch. I like see prices and what on the shelves you're doing a great job. Have a wonderful blessed Wednesday and week.
Ha! Bullfrogs and Butterflies seemed so familiar as soon as you grabbed it, but I didnt know why it seemed familier. I grew up in Christian schools. So I'm guessing there's a connection. You and your husband have a fun dynamic. You found some cute clothes. I like the little black striped skirt. Super cute!
The chicken looked delicious 😋. Nice looking shopping center. I really haven’t gone to a thrift store in years. I really don’t need anything and the prices are ridiculous. For a few dollars more you can usually have brand new. I don’t think I touch things a lot unless I specifically want to buy that particular item. I appreciate you moving things for us to see the items. ~ Janet 😘
I touch everything because you have to pick it up to look at it, I also smell my food before I try it, especially if I haven’t tried it before! Whoever doesn’t do that they are weird 😂😂
I never look at appliances, but I think I will from now on. I seen you pass a rice cooker and it is worth around $200. I’m looking at one right now and it was the exact same one lol
I like to check out the entire store! Some sections i get thru pretty quickly, some sections i take my time in and really ck them out. You really never know what you're going to find, people pick things up and set them down in other places if they decide they don't want them 🤷♀️ I think some places think just because an item has a big brand name they can jack up the price, which is crazy.. its still used!! Yeah A piece that's $5 brand new verses $100 brand new i can see a little difference in price but sometimes they get carried away! They didn't pay anything at all for it so they lose nothing at all & they profit regardless. I try to understand how places price things, but just can't! Lol.. No it doesn't bother me that you pick things up.. How else are you going to ck things out, find the price, show us the items, etc.?? All the utubers do it! What is that person even talking about, we all do it😄 If you just walked by the things we wouldn't see anything 🤷♀️ i mean things are stacked even in big box stores sometimes, you have to pick things up to find sizes right?! Weird!😄 I have that same LV purse, there were 2 just alike but the straps different colors, and a Tory Burch came in a bag full of donations to our thrift store. I only got one, we have to sell lol. But we do get designer purses from time to time, that's the only time we've gotten LV's in tho! We know the person that donated so yes we knew they were the real deal & not fake knock offs.. Just in case anyone wonders😄 There really are all types of people.. young, old, rich, poor.. That love to thrift! We don't have the Saver stores here.. wish we did. We have A really small Good Will and its horrible! Basically just clothes.. what couple of shelves are in the back literally has junk on them🫤 We have antique stores everywhere tho..i think Tennessee is kind of known for antique stores for whatever reason.. Clinton Tennessee is the largest antiquing district in the south.. there's over 20 antique stores there! Its only an hour from me & I've never been! Crazy right?! 😄 Really is a beautiful area, beautiful buildings. Yes, Cherokee is a really good scrub brand! Very comfy too! You got it for A good price! So glad you picked that rolling pin up! I have 2 just like it, they're beautiful! And heavy enough to be A lethal weapon😂 One of mine had the stand the other didn't. Love that turkey platters, very pretty! The silver one is pewter, i think, also nice! We do turkey for Thanksgiving and do steaks on the grill with baked potatoes & salads for Christmas. Do glad you & the hubby enjoyed yourselves, that was the most important thing! And you had A great touchy touchy thrift haul😂 So Fun! Thanks fit sharing!
The LV was actually in a box of donations that came into the thrift store we own. There were 2 LV's and a brand new Tori Burch! Lol.. there was NO way i wasn't going to get at least one of them😄 Yeah I think everyone should visit Tennessee at least once in their life.. its a gorgeous state! Fall Is always the best time.. the mountains are stunning with all those colors!! But antique shopping here is amazing! There an antique store A little over an hour from me that's rated #4 best antique store in the US.. come visit & we'll go😄 I've never been! Did you know the #1 store Is in CA.? Not sure where, but CA is rated #1 for antiquing in the US?! Maybe I need to come there!😁
What? I had no idea California was #1 in anything good like that! 😄 Wow! That's so awesome about the purses! If I ever make it to your area of Tennessee, I'll definitely reach out! I'd love that! 🤍
