From one gardener to another, the “No Rules” is the one rule! Each garden is your own creation and vibe, meant to give you happinesses. The life and energy surrounding a garden is paradise! ♥️
Most people just have a small space dedicated for a garden, but you are making your whole yard a garden! I love that idea and you have some amazing ideas. I believe that those birds do love that space. I imagine they think of it as their little paradise.
Lady, you have made my morning! I woke up thinking I just seem to be fixing things around here, & I was ready to give up. Then I saw what you have been doing and I was smiling, laughing & thinking "I can do that". You have won me over & made my day! Keep that cheerfulness, you are special!
Your garden space is awesome!!! It looks like a resort area. I don’t understand people that think you can get too much of something that’s so beautiful to look at and enjoy. They must have a boring life. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s gorgeous!!!
Tissue holders are found at thrift stores all day long every day, and inverted make a great planter. Place a few rocks at the bottom to keep your soil from flushing out during watering and you have a goodlooking planter.
You would find me on your upper patio all summer long hanging out with the water fountain and the ferns. Your yard is beautiful. I love all of the DIYs. 💞
Eva Monroe, you are fantastic! Thanks for sharing your talents and gifts! I’m a “repurposer” too and totally relate and appreciate what you do! Your porch and yard is the perfect paradise !
Whoever said you've too much stuff in your yard must not love the outdoors much.. Girl you've turned your yard into a place of wonder & beauty. You're very talented so don't pay attention to any hateful opinions. You Rock!
This is probably my favorite video I have ever found. We are lacking with the "stylish black women gardening while funny and relateable" content so 👏🏾!!! Please make more garden and plant videos and tell us what zone you're in. See u round sis.

Girl I love thrifting too: I’m in an apartment so can’t do much. But you got my creative juices flowing I would have never thought to do that with a wig mannequin
The birds in the background, the greenness, the vivid colors and serenity! I wish I wasn’t so close to a concrete jungle. Thanks for letting us into this part of your life Eva! God bless ❤️
Sitting hear watching this on an early Friday morning with a cup of coffee with a smile on my face. Love all the authenticity of your space. So often we see cookie cutter designs that lack true creativity. Way to break through the norms and show up as you! I love it!!!
Loving birds is Not weird at all. Thank you for taking care of your garden and making it a haven for birds, bees, and all living things .....just as our gardens should be.
Wow, Eva I absolutely LOVE YOUR GARDENS! You are extremely talented & very clever. I think just like you & have done similar gardening tricks that you did. Like repurposing old items by spray painting them another color & I'm good with other things you do. I love flowers too! I think your much better at it than I am bc I am older now & I am a bit rusty at doing any backyard project bc I have a bad back & I haven't gotten any younger! However, I'm only 63 years old & we just moved & I have the perfect small back yard space that I want to make beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration! Your a super beautiful lady & God loves you for taking care of the birds & feeding them & giving them clean water & bird baths! 🐦❤ May God bless you & may you & your honey have a very long blessed life! Love & Prayers! P.S. I LOVE YOUR WALL OF WATER DOOR..ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! My Dad was a hair dresser so I love your black headed lady that you made (the pot planter with the plant growing for the hair...ALSO SO CLEVER!! YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR OWN T.V. SHOW!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL YARDS!! ❤🙏❤
I love your garden. Your plants look beautiful. You are very creative and it gives me food for thought. Don’t let anyone tell you have too many things in your garden , it’s very tastefully placed. I love your stories. God Bless!
I absolutely love it! "You ain't seen nothin yet!"😂 It's your space, how can you have or do too much in your OWN space; in which you were gracious enough to share! Sista, keep doin' you! You spaces are fabulous!!!👑💜
Good morning, girl I love you you gave me life this morning. I strive to be like you just retired sitting at home with arthritis hurting and depressed and you just made my day. Love you be blessed
Been trying to find more videos to watch and all I can say is WOW! Love everything. My husband dont understand the repurpose phenomenal (he hates thrift stores, yard sales etc) in his words "other people's junk". Creative people have the same concept of thinking beyond, Keep doing you, fill that yard up.
Wow, your yard and outside porches are beautifully done!! You are so talented with repurposing items and are a real inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.💐
Hi Eva. I did the same thing with my candle holder placing little potted plants on top. Great compliments received. Thrifting is the bomb. I absolutely Love the wig holder planter. So clever. 🌞🥰
Too much in your garden ??? What ??? No way ... Your garden is amazing . I would love to walk through it and just absorb it. Very creative . Keep doing what you love & Thank you for sharing it with us ❤️😍

Excuse me You do not have too much in your backyard. I think it is beautiful. That is your personal space and I adore it. Whoever said you have too much stuff in your backyard….they don’t know what beauty is.
These videos are making me so excited! I’m currently trying to buy my first home, and now I know where to start with my yard. I have to do that wig head planter that is soooo cute!

Beautiful I love it all ❤️What part of the country do you live in everything looks so green and beautiful I’d love to get my yard looking somewhat like that I live in North Dakota.
So beautiful!!! Looks like a tropical resort!. You are so talented. Dont listen to the haters.. ! I WONDER WHAT THEIR YARD LOOKS LIKE? I BET NO NEARLY AS PEACEFUL AS YOURS. LOVE THE SOUNDS OF WATER N BIRDS YOUR GARDEN HAS ATTRACTED! GREAT JOB.
Your garden is fabulous and full of so much interest, I could spend hours discovering all your creations. The vignettes in your outdoor rooms are so inviting. Thanks for the grand tours.....
Hi Eva, watching your videos for the first time. Loving them to pieces. I am adding your ideas to my growing outdoor RV living notebook on edible, herb and flower Gardening, patio decor and repurposing. I adore the table with the solar lamp idea. And if you like changing the nick nacks to match holiday and seasons like I do. I suggest Velcro to hold them in place until you change them. Double sided tape is my bestie with keeping everything in place with RV life. Keep those talented DIY projects coming. Can't wait to see what's next.
Me too, this was was my first time as well! I had to pick my jaw off the floor with lamp idea - that was epic! I was going to suggest the Velcro as well. We had a 30ft cabin cruiser boat 🛥 on a very choppy lake for 12 years and that’s how we kept our decorations and small kitchen appliances from ending up on the floor or on the other end of the boat. We sold the boat a few years ago but bought a house recently on that very choppy/shallow lake a year ago, a few months before the pandemic started so I’m rebuilding all my gardens. One is on a steep grade hill. I want it to be a statement piece since it’s seen from the lake by the boaters. It’s about 50ft wide by 30 high. Last year I made a huge smiley emoji out of marigolds and red salvia. This year I planted two thirds zinnias and one third petunias at the bottom. I had a chipmunk and Japanese beetles do some extensive damage to the zinnias so it looks like crappola this year. The hill is impossible to keep weeded and choose plants , I learned this the hard way, that don’t require any deadheading or to be cut back when you slip then slide down the hill and take out every plant in your path it’s very upsetting. Someday we’ll have to do something cease the erosion because that is naturally always a problem.
Beautiful spaces. You had me rolling with the waterfall door (neighbor situation) and the mannequin hands in the garden. 😂🤣 I also like the rug your friend made you. Everything looks breathtakingly beautiful. ❤🥂🥳👍🏾
I LOVE IT!!! Especially the welcome mat...I am going to use some of the inspirations I got from your gardens in mine. Every garden should have a sense of humor planted somewhere in it. Yours is brilliant!!!
I like the wig head planter idea. I decorated my wig heads with lipstick & recycled earrings when I was selling wigs online. Now I'll use them for planters! Thanks for sharing!
