I miss thrifting in Brooklyn and Manhattan so much!! The shops here in LA are great too, but much more trend focused than the unique hidden gems I used to find in NY

You really did find some gems! I believe that the black Gap skirt is from the late 90s because I have a Burgundy one that looks just like it and I’ve had it since then. Every time I wear it people ask about it. BTW I’m one of your OG, followers, 60 years old and the Gap was my store back then 😊

Also, that Beacon's is so dim and packed you gotta get there early to really get IN cause they usually do have some gems. That silk top gave me 90s Janet Jackson, I lived!

I ABSOLUTELY ❤❤❤❤LOVE Housing Works. Their prices are a little high but WORTH it. I’ve found everything from Loro Piano to Alexander McQueen in their store. I even found a floor length Sheepskin for a good price.
