I worked at a thrift store and shop there whenever I can. There were so many name brand things getting put out for dirt cheap but some things would randomly get priced very high because someone finally noticed that it was a brand. For me personally, if I'm spending $60 on a pair of shoes, they better be new. I've seen what those clothes come from and what they go through. I don't have alot of money for clothes so I stress about even buying jeans over $6. Those boots for $1 is a steal!
I got a pair of fry boots for 7$ on theead up. I wanted them for a cosplay and then realized they were a big brand. I still painted them with leather paint for the cosplay but theyre super comfy
#1 Priority for shoes: Well fitting and comfortable #2 Price there is no #3 shoes that don't fit into the aesthetics don't get in. So 2 out of 2 ... perfect.
The dollar ones suit your legs much better. I’ve never been a fan of ankle boots. They are hard to pull off. If they are both genuine leather… I would say the $1 ones
Uncomfortable shoes that look good will forever sit in your closet BC you'll remember that they are uncomfortable and you'll find a reason not to wear them out
I like the harness detail on the Frye boots better. I have a great pair of calf high brown square toe boots from Frye. I got them in brand new used condition, for $75, worth every penny, have had them for years. Look so cool and wear like iron, best boots ever.
