I love this type format of styling your goodies from a haul. I don’t like hauls on their own.

I love what you did with the entryway. I do think the lamp should have a smaller shade, but you sure have a knack for thrifting and styling. Sending prayers for your baby and the rest of the family.

Sent the poem to my daughter in law. Our son is in the hospital following a very successful cancer removal yesterday… but she is exhausted keeping everything running as normal so our grandson doesn’t get scared. Perfect timing watching your video today. The entryway looks great.

Emily, you’re beautiful with or without baby spit-up in your hair! We’ve all been there. Your entryway is lovely. The bright flowers add so much warmth & good cheer paired with that perfect white pitcher. I think you could go even taller with the lamp because the mirror is so tall. Maybe some books underneath the lamp to add height. And the idea of putting kid socks in the wicker basket is brilliant! I wish I’d thought of that years ago.

I agree that you should whitewash the stone wall. It will really update the look in your home and look better with the flooring.

I loved your reading - beautiful and thought provoking! Your entryway looks so good - I love the color with the roses. The lamp is ok but I think the shade dwarfs it. Hopefully you can find something a little smaller that would make the lamp sing. I’m surprised all that you were able to get done with a newborn but so glad to see you. My second one had projectile vomiting. If he had been my first, I probably wouldn’t have had another one - I don’t do throw up real well😂. Blessings on your little one. Thanks for sharing with us.

Its so good to see you! You look beautiful mama😊 I love collecting little antique & vintage chairs and sitting them around the house, sit things in them, just for decor. All with pretty carving in the wood or pretty fabric, I even have a tooled leather bottom one. The entryway looks really pretty! All pretty pieces❤Just A thought.. Maybe switch the basket & books on the bottom shelf, kind of balance the table & decor out, won't look too heavy on one side 🤷‍♀️ Bless you heart honey, i promise i know what its like with a sick newborn🫤 My first was so easy, but the baby was sick till he was 2.5yrs old! Severe acid reflux, projectile vomiting, discussed feeding tubes, all sorts of meds, went thru every formula on the shelf, tongue tied & clipped, constant ear infections so permanent tubes in ears.. These 2 surgeries at 7mths, then constant strep throat so tonsils & adnoids out & removed ear tubes at 2.5yrs and he finally started sleeping & not being sick constantly! But then Asthma until he was about 11. He's grown, married & a dad himself now, but man he sure gave me a run😂and I'd do it all over again, in a minute! But i hope baby boy is getting better, I'll definitely be praying for him, and for you too mama🙏 And yes i love this type video! Also loved the reading at the end! TFS😊

Hi Emily! I'm sorry you've had a rough couple of weeks with little guy. I think you are doing a great job making time to do other things like put out this video to give you life and get out your creativity. The entry way turned out beautiful! I don't think you asked for suggestions so please forgive me but did you switching the books and the basket on the bottom shelf? Then your books from the top of the gorgeous table are diagonal from the books on the bottom, which is a more interesting line. And the wicker/rush in the chair is not immediately next to the wicker in your large rectangular basket. Thanks for sharing it with us!!

I agree with the smear to brighten the space, but I also don’t think it would go with your Spanish style that you have going on in the rest of the house. I can’t believe you found all these awesome things thrifted. The thrift stores near me just have a bunch of trash 😫😫 I have to go to antique stores and they don’t have thrift store prices.

Suggestion... Take several colors of craft paint and a small brush and do a little camo painting on the outlet and cover under your hall table...:). That horrid white outlet is hurting my eyes!! :0. I love that botanical framed print. Fabulous!

Looks so nice! I would (personally) switch out that stack of books on the shelf with a taller item of pottery or sculpture/ art. It would be more interesting and fill the space nicely. What does “high end” mean?

I like comparing new stuff with thrifted bargains.

Family photos, for the most part, should be consigned to the private areas of the home. They certainly shouldn’t be displayed prominently on the living room walls.

Your decorating is beautiful but your lamp shade is too big.

A book at the front door is not appropriate, not creative. An entryway should be a place of receiving so flowers or a growing plant are prime. Things you need as you come and go should be in drawers but necessary.

Seems like too much on such a small table.
