Come thrift with me today at Value Village for Barbie-inspired outfits! The movie is coming out so soon, and we have to be prepped with our best pink fits. I'll teach you what to buy to look like Barbie and how to re-create the looks from the movie trailer! There is of course a try-on styling haul at the end that I think Barbie would be proud of. I got so excited when I got this notification 😂 I had lowkey forgotten how much I loved Barbie before the Barbie movie was announced but she was literally my whole childhood! I'm excited to see what you find and I want to do a Barbie-inspired thrift one day too.

Great finds. I had Barbies in the 60s & 70s. My mom sewed all my Barbies clothes. No pinks or pastels. Except for the outfits they came with all my Barbies clothes were avocado green, browns, golds, and oranges. All the popular colors of the time. I wish I still had all my Barbies and their clothing.

You have more luck finding linen clothes. You may hv the nicest collection of linen items in your wardrobe of anyone I know. You were very successful in your Barbie wardrobe creations. They all looked great on you. Thanks for sharing.

Like: Coat with fur collar, Black crochet bikini top (since black, could just match with plain black bikini bottoms), Light blue skirt, White eyelet tank, White dress, White dress pants Like: first outfit with the cowboy boots, I don't think the pink dress outfit is "costumy", Floral print dress (would be cool casual or for a wedding), Blue skirt outfit

Im going to a Barbie crawl (bar hopping) in San Francisco. They want us to wear Barbie pink and be as flamboyant as possible to show our Barbie spirit lol I’m also dressing Barbie to go see the Movie! Wearing the iconic pink plastic dress and plastic shoes 😂

Yes it means it's vintage! And you can normally find a chart online and date the piece to the decade the union tag was used. And I find normally these pieces are higher quality because they were made slower and without the pressures of today's fashion cycles
