You mix those heights with the bass, that's when the real magic happens. (That's not to say I think any of the Gang could actually compete with Geoff... but I think we all kind of know *that*.)

I'm going to leave a much more spoiler-y comment after this premieres, but for now I'll just say this is one of my favourite covers AND videos that VoicePlay has ever done, and that's a ridiculously high bar to have leapt over. It takes real guts to cover such a well-known and iconic classic, but once again VoicePlay has managed to both honour and elevate the original. I can't wait to see the world's reactions to this insanity!

I am thrilled. At this point I call VoicePlay an iconic classic or a classic icon too! The way they manage to take such a well-known and loved piece, reimagine it to make it all fresh and interesting again is just mind-blowing. You can only tackle a song like this if you have a masterful arranger and a couple of incredibly talented singers - which of course VoicePlay are! You are masters of your art. This is amazing. Voiceplay doing what they do best, spooky season. These are the things I thought when I was watching: • Layne kicking Kathy off screen (Top tier comedy, I also like Cesar's face) • Cesar does zombie hunger/hunting eyes a little too well. • The fear in Geoff's eyes with "they're out to get you" yes Geoff, yes we are lol • J.None's face when Geoff is grabbed is like "Really guys? I'm trying to sing here" • Geoff's levitation/rising after being infected. I felt those bone cracks because mine do the same when I get up. • Did you ever think about how people's bones are always wet? Yeah, that fact messed with my head when I first heard it. • Geoff's l'oreal style hair flip after the full transformation (hello male model) • J. None struggling with the emergency exit door had me screaming like that annoying person in a horror movie "JUST GRAB THE DAMN HANDLE, OPEN THE DOOR AND RUN DAMNIT!" •Yes, give us all the shoulder-ography. • J.None's got amazing moves (not surprised) • I love the steady heartbeat in the background • Oh, and the singing was good and stuff.

Origimagidiculous. The word VoicePlay created to describe their art. Original. Imaginative. Ridiculous. While this is nowhere near ridiculous (except for the fact that Geoff's evil laugh makes me giggle ), it is original and very imaginative. The VoicePlay magic is what we like to call it these days. Taking the original song and completely making it their own, while somehow still managing to honor the original. There are likely going to be a number of comments in line with "this is nothing like the original", but it must be recognized - it's not meant to be a copy of the original. Instead, what it is is one of a kind pure genius. I am honored to support these amazing singers (and arrangers) in their pursuit of bringing us the aural (and even visual) pleasure of their performance. ❤

OMG! I was so excited when I saw this was going to hapoen. The original MJ video was a masterpiece and Vincent Price's Voice is legendary. VP did not disappoint! He didn't go as low in this one. Geoff isn't my top favorite bass voice but I like him cause he can go low and high and has such control. My fav basses that I like would be oktavist mikhail zlatpolosky, alexander ort, vladimir miller. JD Sumner is great. Glenn Miller is a great basso profundo. Also love Thurl Ravenscroft Plus many more. But those kinds of voices are not as popular as higher ones usually. I got into those voices after my voice changed in my life. I do like to see appreciation for bass though so W comment

The Halloween Season has now OFFICIALLY begun. Eli's lighting and vocals really set the mood. Kathy actually gave me a jumpscare. The twitches and gradual changes were terrifying and brilliant. Layne's carrot made me pause the video as I laughed until I went into coughs. How can Cesar look terrifying and adorable at the same time? How??? Geoff's Vincent Price was perfect and literally gave me shivers. (No mere mortal can resist his voice.) J became MJ with those killer-thriller dance moves. I loved this so much! I really wondered how y'all were gonna do this one, when the first rumblings of arranging it were heard. I mean, that mini-film is pretty iconic. I was never concerned about the arrangement. Knew you'd knock that out of the park. But what would the accompanying visual look like? 🤔 Well, suffice to say, I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. You hit all the marks that needed to be hit, but in your own style and way. Absolutely perfect! When the video first started I kept wondering about the narration segment at the end. Vincent Price is a really tough act to follow-the man almost single handedly personified the horror genre for two generations. Jeff did an astoundingly good narration, making it his own while still paying homage to the classic. Great voices, great makeup, great arrangement, and a completely immersive experience guys.
