Join us from June 14-22, 2024, as we escape to the local island of Thinadhoo, nestled in the stunning Vaavu Atoll! Just a 1 hour and 45-minute speedboat ride (76km) south of Male, this small yet charming island is the perfect getaway for both relaxation and adventure. With its peaceful vibes, you can walk around the island in less than 20 minutes, exploring quaint hotels, local shops, restaurants, and the incredible Thinadhoo Dive Shop.
We stayed at the beautiful Reethi Villa, located right on the beach (Bashima Higun, Thinadhoo, Maldives; +9607465333). Waking up to breathtaking turquoise waters just steps from our hut was pure paradise! 🌴☀️
✨ Scuba Diving Magic ✨
Our dives were organized with exceptional detail by the amazing dive organizers Shakko and Faris-and wow, were they unforgettable! Whether it was a 5-minute Dhoni ride or a longer trip under an hour, the dive spots delivered incredible experiences. We felt like we had the ocean to ourselves with only 4 paying customers onboard (we got lucky!). The reefs were alive with whitetip and blacktip sharks, nurse sharks, turtles, and much more. Every dive felt like luxury!
