i personally reccomend more telling plants like statiphyllum or philodendrons who droop their leaves alot or little when thirsty, plants like calatheas or ferns are often very picky and want constant attention, meaning they cant dry out or get forgotten. Monstera thai constellation are VERY sensitive for root rot and needs rather perfect water timing and soil. Getting good soil mixes is hard for those new in the hobby. For me, the plants you listed are not easy to care for. diffenbachia is too sensitive to root and stem rot.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! While I understand that some plants like stathiphyllum and philodendrons may be more visually expressive in indicating their hydration needs, certain varieties of Philodendron such as Philodendron Mamei, Philodendron Brandtianum, and Birkin can present more challenges and may require very specific care instructions. In my experience, I have found that certain varieties like Calathea Network and ferns such as Nephrolepis Exaltata and Microsorum are actually quite easy to care for, as they thrive with consistent moisture levels and indirect light. However, I acknowledge that other varieties of Calathea (Calathea roseopicta 'Rosy', "White Fusion") and ferns ( Golden Zebra Bamboo Fern, Pteris ensiformis) can be much more difficult to maintain in room conditions. Additionally, I've personally found that Monstera Thai Constellation can be easier to maintain compared to varieties like Monstera adansonii and Epipremnum, which may experience yellowing leaves in winter, or Alba Variegata, which may develop browning on the variegated parts of the leaves. In my video, I should have emphasized the importance of using smaller pots for Dieffenbachia to avoid root rot, which has proven effective in my own care routine. While caring for Dieffenbachia Tropic Marianna and Summer Style, I encountered an issue of root rot once, but I was able to save the plants. Other varieties are indeed quite robust. In every plant family, there are complex-to-care-for plants. I've chosen, in my opinion, the most low-maintenance varieties. Every plant parent may have different experiences and preferences, so it's always valuable to share diverse perspectives in the gardening community. 🤗🤗

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like them. For large leaves, I focus on providing a balanced and nutrient-rich diet. I primarily use a well-balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength and apply it every two weeks during the growing season (April-September). For those lush leaves, I've actually posted a video sharing my perfect potting soil mix that I use for some of my plants. It's a blend that provides the right balance of nutrients and drainage. If you're interested, feel free to check it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Nrz0roktKZM.html

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. When it comes to growing Thai Constellation Monstera, it's important to use a pot slightly larger than the roots. This is crucial for proper planting after purchasing the plant to ensure its establishment. In a significantly spacious pot, roots tend to grow more than the leaves initially. You can create a highly nutritious substrate yourself or enrich store-bought soil with organic and mineral supplements such as red clay, horn meal, and horse manure pellets. For drainage at the bottom of the pot, use pine and fir cones. Direct the aerial roots into the soil in the pot. Usually, they grow quickly and in the wrong direction, so it's essential to monitor and gently bend and fix them until they grow into the soil. Provide bright, indirect sunlight to encourage healthy growth and variegation. From September to April, I use additional lighting for 12 hours a day to avoid abrupt growth stoppage, leaf yellowing, and browning of variegated leaf parts. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. Do not rotate the plant in different directions towards the light, otherwise, the leaves will grow in all directions, making it impossible to approach the plant. When watering, allow the top inch or two of soil to dry out between waterings. Monstera enjoys moisture but not during winter. Overwatering can lead to root rot, and elongation of leaf stems and leaf reduction, loss of fenestration. So maintaining a balance is crucial. Wipe its leaves with a damp cloth twice a month as showering is not feasible. Monstera plants thrive in high humidity. In my room, it's around 50-60%, +18+21C (64.4 °F-68.4 °F), northern Germany. What about your condition?

Thanks for the compliment! My room conditions are around +20°C with 60% humidity as well. What is your room condition? Try a very tight for roots pot and warm shower once a week instead watering.
