Thanks for your comment! PvP in my opinion is pretty much opt in? As you can target other areas to farm and play PvE without being massively zerged haha
just go to the peace events and do abyssal contracts and dungeons. you dont even have to play in siege but you will lose out on lucent but nothing that a bit of swiping cant make up for. you will get full BIS albeit a couple weeks or a month slower.
