Some keybinds I can recommend for the Hotbars, because you can profit alot from learning early to fully rely on using your Keyboard instead of clicking Skills with your mouse: Put Sprint on Shift+Q (or else) so Shift Combinations become available for the right half of the Hotbar. Use 1,2,3,4,5,R on the left side of the Hotbar. Use Shift+1,2,3,4,5,R on the right side of the Hotbar. This turned the game from clunky af to actually enjoyable for me! ♥
My biggest issue with the combat is the targeting tbh. Hate that you have to click to select your target before you can use any of your abilities. It feels especially bad when you have to juggle multiple enemies at once. Constantly having to click on a new enemy when one dies is annoying asf and it interupts my combos every time.
@@crazyRyoga I prefer classic right now, as with the current system it feels odd having to share my camera controls with the targeting features. I've found the options in the settings to solve my problem though. Under the Target Settings you can set to auto target closest when none selected, or target mouse hover when none selected. Combat instantly feels 10x better for me with the second option.
I personally run action mode and then have my tab targeting priorities changed and just use tap targeting for everything or will set our tank to be leader and you can press T to target whatever the leader is targeting
Thanks for the tips and explanations. No wonder I was thinking the game felt a bit wonky, I was in that "Action Combat/Camera" setting, thinking that "Classic" meant some old school way that games don't use anymore. No! Classic is the way I wanted it.
Good Video! But over the long run, its easier (and faster) to press the buttons than to click. Best to map the buttons for easy reach and try to slowly learn not to be a clicker 😅
It mite be faster, But 'Easier' is subjective, The reason he clicks is because its easier for him, Thats literaly the point. You ever thought about what its like for someone with very large hands to use a keyboard? The majority of people over 6ft 4 struggles to use a keyboard, CTRL, Z, X, C, ALT all virtually impossible to press, This is where the original idea came out for the razer naga, But little did they know that our thumb presses 4 buttons at once, Well done razer.
They can't comprehend that people are different to them. They can't comprehend someone have wrist injuries, mobility issues and other things that may make it harder to hit keys. They are just sweaty little kids who's identity is being the best in pvp. Don't worry about them, I don't.
mehh, i don't like clicking the enemies or a mouse hovering always on the screen, i prefer the combat mode but their combat mode by default is stupid coz you still have to click the enemy, there is a setting to auto target skill by range or priority even when there is no clicked target. This setting makes it a half decent action mmorpg and not a tab target one
Best skill troll video on youtube u nearly had me there, skill clicking in 2024 in a competitive pvp game, go find some comfy keybinds that will 100x help u more than skill clicking. lmfao at the tool tips and skill clicking and how to change it

I agree with him, a tab targetting mmo like this is best played in classic mode, you can play in a birds eye view and see more of the battlefield. Playing in action mode just puts you in a disadvantage, you need to play this game like you are playing league of legends essentially.
@@easynow1337 Did you consider trying one of those mmo mouses with side buttons? You can even modify the side buttons using shift etc so the only keys you need are WASD for movement and Shift for your left hand. I saw you got defensive in the other comment, but it does make a huge difference and takes you about a week to get used to a new keybind setup.
Trust me you will stop doing that. u might start but switch. Having a steady camera being able to move back forth is way superior, remember: you can turn cam without turning characters and with turning it. Use those options get used to and u never go back.
Thats funny saying classic mode is so much better. If the game did not have an action mode I'd not play it EVER cause I hate this system so much. It feels so clunky and lame
Nono dont follow this guy, clicking on skills is such a noob habit, use classic mode but bind skill shortcuts to keys that you can manage to press or the best is you buy an mmo mouse if you have the money because it allows you to move while using your skills effortlessly which is an advantage in pvp.
this guy has never heard that being a "clicker" in mmo's is bad, lmfao. this video was sent to me as a meme, what a degenerate way to play mmo's. this argument of "is clicking good" has been debunked probably before many of you where born in age old mmo's. do yourself a favour, dont be a clicker.

That's funny! The 'do not click' crowd, thinking they’re too cool, but still ended up on a 'make combat 100x better' video. This is actually a great video! Some of the default settings can be a bit frustrating, and I’m working on reducing my click-heavy habits, so this was super helpful.
@@InconnuGlitterBoy it’s because some really good settings are buried and not on by default such as “auto target with mouse over when attacking without a target” something that helps immensely and makes the game feel more responsive when using action mode or just in general.
Well u press aim block and dodge. U have charge and pull as well as movement stuff which u need to use. Tera was very similar yetore based on circles evasion. What's missing is lancer cancer skill cancels that's true.

I'm a clicker and play DPS and I shit on other players cause I can kite the shit out of them and cast shit ton of spells while clicking and managing my camera.. Buttons are good if you are a tank, but if you are DPS clicking is better..
@@Jankosoltey "Clicker" meaning he manually clicks his abilities with his mouse to activate them instead of using keybinds. Guy in the video does the same.
