Was having the hardest time with the final wave till I tried this Elite Warrior strat. Holy fck do they become elite! I had one spear dude trapped against a wall at 10% health and he held 4 soldiers for an entire middle wave. It was awesome. This strat still works Feb 2024 :)
Thanks man, had to try again a couple of times in the last night since the 14 giants just below the castle would break through thanks to the explorers but eventually i set up more hunters and ballistas.
Just a note - this vid is from 2 months ago so I'm assuming you've probably already figured this out - but in case you have not > You can command units to hold position - you don't have to let them just run around and do what they want (their AI tends to be kinda dumb as bricks) whatever key you press to "pickup" the units - press and hold that after you've brought them where you want them, instead of just tapping it to let them go. if you press and hold, and then let go, they will hold position
Thanks for the heads up on the unit change, I have kept an eye on the patch notes and appreciate this is slightly out of date but the strategy I think is still solid!!
the game volume is a bit too loud during the fighting , I can barely make out your voice while fighting. i love how balanced you try to make it while also making it so challenging. love it . thank you !
