Thrones of Decay Announced! - Total War Warhammer 3

This is the first time one of CA’s trailers legitimately made me hyped in a long time. Still leary about anything they release but I’m hopeful that this delivers on the hype the trailer promises

So, some fun facts about Malakai ; 1. He invented one of the war machines in the trailer, the Goblin-Hewer 2. Before he took the Slayer Oath, he created a steamship called *The Unsinkable* , which sunk on its maiden voyage, and an airship called *The Indestructible* , which exploded in mid-air 3. He has a very thick Scottish accent 4. For a Slayer who is supposed to atone for his sins by seeking his doom, he is actually a pretty silly and excitable Dwarf! A stark contrast to many of the dour grumps and brooding grumblers in Dwarfen society

Dlc looks more in line with the price for sure but still will never preorder from ca ever again. Burned too many times, still though if this was their hail mary pass at saving total war and the company it wasnt bad

Elspeth, Tamurkhan, and Malakai. New legendary characters. Engineer lords and heroes for the Empire, Slayer lords and heroes for the Dwarfs, and Chaos Lord of Nurgle and Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle for Nurgle. Unique faction mechanics. Thunderbarges, Landships, Toad Dragons, Goblin Hewers, Steam Tanks with Volley Guns, Bile Trolls, and so many more new units. The trailer made me so hyped and the contents within the DLC makes me even more so. The first time seeing the trailer made me so giddy like a little kid, I was that excited for this DLC.

Love the dwarf air machine and empire gun land ship! Super hyped!

I feel about the empire a similar way you feel about Nurgle. I personally would care more about a Cult of Ulric dlc for the empire

I'm just hoping the overhauls to existing lords will be good. Franz definitely deserves to have a polished campaign.

Already Wishlisted it. Fortunately, I tend to have the money to spend so pricing tends to never be an issue for me. I always want as much content as available. Super excited

The Master Engineer for the Dwarfs is part of the base game. Other than that, pretty hype for the new additions especially the Thunderbarge!

I didn't expect it but a dwarf horde faction is probably the most interesting of the pack.

New empire units! Hurray!

Looks great. I am wondering if there will be any accompanying map changes. Also curious how many of the new Empire units will be available to all factions, and which will be specific to Elspeth. Looking forward to your review!

I think it's a good move to split the DLC so you can buy just the thing you want (that's really pro consumer), not really interested in Nurgle myself (a real Empire and HE main ;) ) but if it looks good I'm probably gonna buy all the packs (because I wanna play the quest battles and I wanna support good content). I don't know what it is about Elspeth but she really hypes me up. When I first saw the trailer for WH1 I knew nothing of this universe, I knew 40K a bit, but I slowly kept digging deeper and deeper, watched Lore vids and fell in Love with this universe. I really hope this is not the final DLC for Empire because there is still so much - potential - left. So many great moustaches to explore (Ludwig Schwarzhelm and Kurt Helborg), crazy characters to fathom (Marius Leitdorf) and double hammer characters to unleash (Young Valten). I just don't get it, Empire is the most played faction and it"s one of the factions with the least LL's and not even a FLC LL. Empire is a save investment and it is garanteed to make money, I don't get why we don't have more at this moment. I hope they keep supporting this game for a long time to come BUT speaking as an historical fan as well I hope for a very good historical game as well in the near future I don't need a yearly release, I need quality. If I can drop my 5 cents on more fantasy universes, a LOTR and 40K game would be like a dream come true.

Finally some more units for the Empire, and a nice touch to introduce Malakai. For the first time, in a very long time, a DLC that might be worth the buck you spend. I for one am intrigued

!: CA! We want the pre-order shown on steam so we can plan to get it and pre load it so the internet dosent melt on launch day trying to get it. As a bundle with a true price total w VAT or tax 2: CA has absolutely poor demographic research as to when certain markets have Holidays School time's schedules ect.. they launch things at weird time's for the cross the pond types. Pay cycles are two weeks or weekly usably on Fridays.. so that should be the day. this could mean you have troubles getting loyalty points for your footballs road team and play at launch? the ala carts nice to be true however the listing first separately means a flexible arch plus it could cost ore to realize you want it all

Dark lady is a counter force v the Maggot lord. we will buy the whole as a package for a discount when its listed to steam as such

Nurgle is such a bizarre faction in that it's probably great for new players to learn the battle system, because it takes forever to die you get more time to take in and react to everything. Except it also has one of the most BIZARRE campaign mechanics so it's pretty bad for new players there.

Love the engineer focused for the empire and the airship for the dwarfs.. slayers don't really excited me, would've liked even more war machines, but oh well

Ngl id love to see you play Nurgle cause hes gross and very different

My worry is how they are going to get Empire meaningfully added to the Realms of Chaos maps since it is the WH3 base game, not WH2. Will they expand the map? My other worry is that the potential of cutting up the race packs could be a cause for more bugs since the code already seems rather "touchy."

Nurgle is so much more fun to play now and I guess that legendary hero will be playable with festus as well so major game changer. Karl Franz got a major problem now lol..

Heir sees Nurgle in the bathroom mirror every morning so I can understand if he's uninterested in it/grossed out by it. 😉

Meh. Another day goes by and CA announces more 💩 for their flagship WH3 🤦‍♂️ dont care because I didnt buy Turd Hammer 3 . Someone come wake me when they come to their senses and start making real content. Like idk fucking Medieval 3 😴
