Any musician, especially a singer, will know that taking a song, covering it, and making it your own while still remaining true to the original is very, very difficult. Through Fire nailed it.

I don't think it's hard to cover, because it's so easily recognizable, but it's still impressive with which precision every melody and every chord has been adapted to fit the style that they were going for. It's not hard to cover it, but it's hard to cover it well. btw. that's a handicap that applies to many covers, but you are right, the more popular the song, the harder to make it interesting to listen to in a different style.

I had the privilege of seeing emphatic in concert and got the chance to meet Grant while he was covering for the lead vocalist. Great dude all around and glad he found what he was looking for. By the way, this isn’t the old emphatic lineup, it’s only Grant. The other guys are playing in different bands. Lance is doing he guitarist for From Ashes to New and Dylan (Drummer) just got on with a new band recently Edit: Dylan is actually and producer now I was thinking of when he was in new medicine.

Listen guys... Saying that I'm a hardcore Roxette fan would be an understatement. I'm turning 46, I grew up with the sound of Marie's voice whispering into my ears when I was a teen, I know every damn songs from Roxette, even the ones that never played on the radio. I listened to them in the car, in my bedroom, in my walkman, everywhere, for every occasion. I made love on some... I only have one thing to tell you; THANKS for this rendition, you totally nailed it.

I remember Roxette’s version from the best decade in the world. But being a Rocker from an extremely young age, you guys knocked this out of the park. I love it. I literally just saw them in my home town of cedar falls Iowa they preformed this song they such an amazing band and my wife and I saw them alot but they took the time to be genuine and hang out at spicolis. As someone who has listened to the original & loves it, i will say that i am in love with this cover. Jar of Hearts got me noticing this band and i’m glad to hear to more amazing covers. Takes pop songs and blends them into my favorite genre of rock. I love the twist other genres can put to old songs. Breathes new life into them. Keep it up guys 👌👌❤️

Disturbed's The Sound Of Silence cover had almost unprecedented sales and streaming, 3XP certified Oct 17 & still selling, from a Current Active Rock band but still couldn't catch on. TSOS peaked at #42 on the Hot 100, and stalled between #41-50 at Top 40 & Hot AC. Shinedown did have a song last year, Get Up, that reached #30 at HAC but couldnt further cross over. There are songs at Active Rock that are worthy of mainstream airplay & much better than what's played. But Top 40 would rather play indistinguishable dance & hip-hop songs 24/7 that deaden the minds of everyone around us.

Came up on a recommendation - listened to about 20 seconds before I lost my cool and got pissed... Why was I not shown this sooner?! Holy hell this is awesome guys! Nice sound and a true honor to the original!
