The induction featured in this short video has been mislabled as a 'Rapid Induction with a pattern interrupt spin'. It is in fact an 'lnstant lnduction'! Question: How long does an instant induction take? Answer: 'An lnstant!' A rapid induction is classified as any induction under 4:00minutes duration. The hand drop induction featured above is a passive instant shock induction created originally by Krasner then later popularized by the late Jeffrey Stephens as the 8 Word induction. It is passive as opposed to active because unlike ye old hand yank induction the force is derived from the hypnotee rather the hypnotist. Timed with the shock (pontogeniculo-occipital spike). The other hand should lightly go around the back of the neck near the atlas/occiput & lightly push the head forward. This unconsciously suggests to the brain sleep.

Showing the whites of the eyes, (sclera) indicates the unconscious moving into the executive. Hence the Dr. Ewen Eye Roll & later the the Spiegel Eye Roll. Activated by the cingulate cortex.

Correct Andrew S. The gentleman being hypnotized is clearly enamoured, with the hypnotist in this instance, this is a good thing. ' ln the trade this is known as the 'Prestige Factor', whether it's the Stage Hypnotist a Doctor or a Seminar Guru, once someone is called on stage, in front of a crowd, (cameras help immensely) their 'critical factor is bi-passed' which can be very clearly seen in this gentleman by the way he's looking around, with an abosulte readiness to comply. Once l see that look there isn't a chance in the world of failure. The hypnotee here is infact so ripe, all the would be required for them to drop into deep sonambulism would be to say, 'When l walk passed you and fart, you will go into deep hypnosis' and the will etc.

Is the sleep command reaction supposed to be automatic? I've tried hypno audios and my reaction to the sleep command is always delayed cause I have to "make" my eyes closed. I've heard that some people automatically like black out instantly upon hearing the command.

It really just depends on your conditioned response to this 'word'. You say that your response is 'delayed' because you have to 'make' your eyes close. We ALL MAKE our eyes close when we close our eyes, so people just don't focus on that part of their experience like you are. Just allow your eyes to close, however you need in that moment, and go with the flow. It's often your own self-judgement of your experience that self sabotages your hypnosis experience and results. Not saying this to be mean, just hoping to point out that you might be hyper focusing on a part of your experience that may not be helping you because of your own expectations of what it SHOULD be.

@@ShaneFozard makes sense. Do you have a video on pre-talks? I'm also interested in learning how to hypnotize, but I'm not sure how I can be sufficiently convincing before I can tell a subject that I've already successfully hypnotized people.

Do you do the full 10-0 count all the way through FIRST then do it again with the hand withdrawal the second time?

Induction Breakdown: A pattern of mental expectancy is created through the first demonstration, then the pattern is broken on the second repetition. I would CAUTION STRONGLY against anyone using an instant induction unless the hypnotist has a thorough technical working knowledge of hypnosis.

TEL1415 yes, hypnosis could help. Think of it like this. Every problem is a ‘trick of the mind’. You have ‘tricked’ yourself into thinking you can’t visualise. Hypnosis changes this ‘trick’ from being limiting to being expanding. So using hypnosis you can equally ‘trick’ yourself into visualizing easier and better. Like any skill; the more you do it the better you get. A simple hypnotic suggestion to give yourself is: “everyday I now visualise easier and better”

%5 of the population have aphantasia & can not visualise anything. Which is why in hypnosis the word 'imagine' is so useful.

Helps if you give the person 4mg of Xanax half an hour before hypnotising them.

"Helps"? That all depends on the outcome you are aiming for. Pretending something works by taking a drug to make it look like it works, doesn't 'help' in my definition of the word. :)
