Very nice video. Brings back a lot of memories. The Alfond is like no other. So intimate, almost as if we’re on the ice with them. Going there as a young kid and watching the 42-1-2 team was like nothing else. The place would shake. The hockey was top notch. As fans we were extremely lucky to get to watch the level of talent that Standbrook and Walsh were able to bring to Orono. It couldn’t have been easy to convince that kind of talent to want to come play in Orono Maine of all places, especially since we hadn’t even won a National title yet. It was a show on ice for sure.
