Today is day 1 of the US Womens Open where we are bowling on a 35' pattern and the lanes make us throw it straight at the gutter!! #bowling #pwba #MadisonJanack
Thanks for the info. Since I began studying your approach and release, my average has gone from 187 to 201. Read and react based on the lanes really helped.
I second that. Been bowling for 62 years, starting at age 12. It's a terrific game with lots of fun and action. I'm averaging 195 these days, so not too bad for an old league bowler. Love watching the pros do their thing and there are plenty of good bowling tournaments and videos here on YT.
Well done on the pattern today as I think this is the hardest of the three. I can't wait to see how you do on the long pattern. I bowled the Men's Pro Am the last 2 years and shot 678 and 709 at 66 years old. I honestly had to throw the ball harder than I usually do to keep it on line. Keep going as the grind will continue. PS...I love your jerseys. 😊
Equipment that allows you to play a less angular shape should be on your wish list. That's just not a sustainable shot for any tournament but especially the Open.
This is the US womens Open not the USBC open and the pattern is 35 ft. The US Open always includes a short, a medium and a long pattern. It's designed to be difficult.
I have a daughter her age. She seems more of an introvert like myself, so you may not get really long videos. However, the content is there to study. I see it. The repetitive nature, footwork, consistency hitting the mark, approach, and release. That's all I want, but some enjoy longer videos ✌️
Need much more commentary and get rid of the music or make it a very light background music much rather listen to the ball hitting the pins instead of the elevator music
