Unfortunately, this explanation is wrong. throw Exception is throwing a new exception, and can be added anywhere in your code, while throw can only be placed in a catch clause and is just re-throwing the same exception that was caught. It is not throwing a new exception. Also, you mention the stack trace is giving a, "complete history." This is also wrong. It is not showing a complete history of execution, not even close. It is only showing the current state of the stack when the exception was thrown.

I never said throw is throwing a new exception , it just throws the current exception....If you watch the demo with just throw it shows me the complete info of trace and with throw ex it resets the trace.
