This guy resembles what basketball is all about. I guarantee no one is more passionate than him. You see a grown man on the biggest stage, i see a little kid on the black top
true , i still cant forget this moment and this serious. he loves game , basketball, and respect "people. no matter how dirty talk during or off the game, like mich and miller. these guy are respect some one should respect, i watch over 20yrs nba game, kg is one of the man when bill rus comes out he try he best to not ignore him, kobe does that too. other one just took the fmvp of his named award and walk always.
Leowulf™ lol no I don’t walk around the world showing emotion all the time. If you do, chill. Don’t get too high on life and don’t get too down on life.
You're an airhead. If you want to spell his quote phonetically correct it would be "anything is possibllllllllle" not anything is possible-eeeeeeee. C'mon airhead. You're about as smart as Kevin Garnett it seems. Dude can't even read English.
Thank you KG for everything. Thank you for your trashtalking, blocked shots after the whistle, 6 great years with the Celtics, 14 great years with the T-Wolves, 21 great years of your contributions to the basketball world and most importantly, thank you for Banner 17. #AnythingIsPossible #ThankYouKG
@@DevinGibbs-cg7yb Yeah this one seemed genuine. Tatum seemed like he was shooting for this rather than just letting honest emotions go. Like intentionally trying to create a moment
As a timberwolves fan, I can say we were celtics fans that series. Kevin shouting out minnesota was unbelievably heartfelt and amazing. We wish he could have brought a championship here, but it wasn't for a lack of trying on his part. His dedication, his effort, his passion and intensity is forever ingrained in our hearts. When he won with Boston, we felt like we won too. He deserved it, and as a wolves fan, I can just say we were so happy for him. We were mad he left, but ultimately we understood why. He gave everything to elevate the timberwolves franchise, leaving nothing out in his pursuit. KG, Da Kid, the franchise, maybe my favorite player ever. We love KG, forever and ever. Bless you man, this interview still pierces my soul in the best ways.
The moment KG and Bill Russell hug is so poetic. That's so many decades and generations of real basketball, real team basketball right there. Bill Russell's dignity during that chaos and KG's explosion of emotions... those two men lived so much through this beautiful sport.
@@romant142 he played in an era where most nba players were unathletic white dudes. nba didn't get competitive until the 80s and 90s. in his era basketball wasnt popular so all the best athletes played football or baseball. I think all those guys that came before including wilt you have to factor that in. he's considered an all time great because of 11 championships but would he have won that many in the 80s and 90s?
@@evxnhouse i think building around markelle fultz and cole anthony is what we should do, well get a high draft pick this year and if fultz can stay healthy i can see our backcourt being like the blazers with dame and cj
@@joshuakissner8102 yeah and chuma and Judah are gonna be really good at the forwards plus I see us drafting Jalen Green so cole is probably gonna come off the bench or Markelle is and vooch will be his normal self
This rivalry gave us the two best postgame interviews. KG's "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!" and Ron Artest's "I want to thank my psychiatrist!/KOBE PASSED ME THE BALL!"
The wild thing about this video is you could see it in Kobe’s eyes as he was congratulating the Celtics Players and Coaches he was already focused on Next Season. R.I.P. Black Mamba
This is THEEEE greatest postseason interview of all time. The range of emotion, the back and forth between shock, child like enthusiasm, celebrating, trying to be professional, and honoring the game by seeking out the great Bill Russell and telling him “I hope I made you proud!” This moment is hard to top… every athlete should watch this. And if they don’t want it they need to question what they play for.
Just one time in my life…I want to feel what he felt in this moment. Lakers fan 4 life but damn this makes me wanna run thru a brick wall and then start bawling
This randomly came to my mind while working on a project for work!! I remember watching this live with my mother (rest Eazy ma) and it brought tears to my eyes . It damn near did again just now. I felt all his passion, all the emotion! I don’t even think a movie could’ve wrote out this moment better. It was so genuine! “Anything is possible!”
Another moment I watched live and will never forget. KG really made me feel like anything is possible after watching this win and his unforgettable reaction
I remember watching this live in a bar with my buddies and we saw this and broke down , all former ball players we new exactly what he was feeling ... respect to KG YOUR CERTIFIED !!!!!
Seeing all the emotion in that building was a beautiful outpouring of emotion. This city will always love its champions and we will never raise division or Conference championship banners in our rafter.
i remember going to one of these finals games in la when i was young asf, the most live i have ever seen a stadium in my whole life. i wish sports still hit like this
How I feel after physically willing my way to financial success after dropping out of college with a whole DUI to pay off and no money no anything to my name, just one big broken heart. Had to bike to work. Had to start at $10 an hour. Had to isolate myself from my friends and family. Had to be the hardest baddest motherfuckin worker that anyone’s ever seen for 4 years no days off 60 hour weeks. Had to nearly cut my finger off. Had to claw my way up to 17.50, and now the lord is giving me a new mission new opportunity that starts at 27.50 lots of OT and I really get to put my 2 week in and walk out of that place a legend. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!! Thank you so much god🙏
Not a sports fan but I am from MA and this along with Big Papi saying this is our fucking city after the Marathon bombings is a highlight of NE sports. Pure passion cannot be faked.
