i remember playing this for the first time ever at my cousin’s house when it first came out and we were blown away by the jump in graphics particularly with the sweat and jersey physics. but man have we come a long way since then. i really miss those days though 😢

This was the game that made me decide to buy an X360 ASAP. My jaw was on the floor the first time I saw someone playing it in person. Some comments here don't get how much of a visual upgrade this was over the previous gen.

I just grabbed a copy of this game the other day on eBay, I paid like $6 for one complete in box. NBA 2K6 is one of my favorite basketball games on the 360.

I remember Christmas 2005 I got this game from my (step) grandma & was disappointed I got this instead of NBA Live lol. Funny how times change, if it was the other way around these days I wouldn’t even play Live.

2K20 is gonna be crazy.How 2k6 to 2k14 changed so much.Just imagine what it will look like in 6-8 years

first year on new consoles this seemed so realistic... it takes awhile for producers to cope with new systems which is why theres such a difference from this and 2k14 .. that being said 2k14 looks amazing on ps4 ad's now and im excited to see what future installments are gonna look like because I think the graphics in the games we've seen thus far are just the tip of the ice berg

All I know is nba 2k9 has the best Iverson player model…they never get his long arms or wire frame right anyomore like they did in 2k9. They also fully motion captured “his” signature crossover. I wish 2k focused more on signature moves like they use to in the pass
