In the 2003 NBA draft the Cleveland Cavaliers selected LeBron James with the first overall pick. From his first game on the court LeBron ascended into one of the greatest players in the league which caused the Cavs to switch to contention mode quicker than they anticipated, which ultimatley led to them never building a great team around James. In this video we take a look at what LeBron's career and the mid 2000's Cavaliers would look like if we tore the team down and built the team through acquired draft picks.
In real life LeBron tried to do everything he could to get the Cavaliers to draft Chris Paul out of Wake Forest, ultimately they couldn't...and neither could I but I did surround LeBron with some incredibly talented guys.
