Fun Fact: Vanessa, Ursula's human alter ego, is actually based on The Princess character from the original Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, "The Little Mermaid".

Great review, to answer your question Vanessa did in fact wear black Ballet flats in the movie which you can see in the scene where she's singing to the mirror on the ship.

where can i buy it show me i im obsessed with the little mermaid i have a vanessa doll but its a Custome doll with original Dress and heels but i got it on ebay for $44.95 and the face its repaint yo make her look Like oaak doll do you think you be selling yours in the feature or not its ok if you said no its Fine by me un just asking ps i love your voice and how you describe the value of the dolls on your channels your channels Rock you go girl

I don't think I'll be parting ways with my dolls anytime soon, lol. I bought my set from Amazon 2 or 3 yrs ago. I haven't checked recently, but it is a little hard looking for sellers, I guess since a lot of people who bought it before ended up really liking it, so they decided to keep the set instead. Just keep checking Amazon and eBay, I'm pretty sure you'll eventually find a good deal. =)

Its a good set but Ariels bang really bugs me. It shouldn't bug me as much as it does,I guess its cause I know disney store can make her bang right cause my 2011 Ariel has it right.

Yes, for some reason they have not paid attention with the hair details, especially for this one. This set is one of the old ones that were released, it took them years to realize the mistake.

I think this set came out in 2012 ,I believe that's when they stoped parting Ariels bang on the correct side. The 2011 Ariel classic doll was the final one to have it right I think. Until her heroes vs. villans set at least.
