I like using the "bone color" Heddon Super Spook Jr. Works great! Has a super loud rattle and you catch everything on it!

Hey Ty and Theresa, I am a huge fan. One good spot is on all sides of Mud Island in Rockport. It works with both live shrimp and top water. Especially the red and white Super Spook with red Gamakatsu hooks

Hey first off I love your show. I've been watching for a couple of weeks and I think I have seen most if not all of them. Down here in Florida we call those "poor mans tarpon" ladyfish and a skipjack is a type of Bonita we catch offshore and use for sailfish bait. I enjoy watching how different areas adopt there own slang for different fish. Thanks again for sharing the great videos and the time you spend to bring them to us.

Spoons are a day thing or simply whenever they are workin?

Its not a skip jack, Its a Ladyfish. Skip jacks are Small bait sized tuna's called Bonita's normally caught off shore anywhere from 1-30 miles out. And sometimes even come closer into the surf.

Wished I knew how to get ahold of you by email. I hv a map from a 30+ year fishing guide that guides down there got some great big trout ans reds spots on there. From generally around the Copano Bay Rattkesnake bend area. I lv in Keller Texas but haven't been down there since I sold my CC boat. Some spots you need at least a kayak but a boat to hit them all. But kayak will do if going to a couple spots a day. I just don't know how to pricvatky contact thru UTube if even possible
