Decluttering my apartment, organizing my house, minimizing all our stuff
Hey moms! Lately I've been really interested in minimizing the things we own. Sometimes having more doesn't make anything better it actually just brings more clutter and stress. So come on the journey with me as I start organizing and getting rid of stuff! This is the first day but I hope to continue this process and eventually not own any extra!

KEEP GOING!!!! I live a pretty extreme minimalist life in a one bedroom flat with toddler and honestly, trash, food, toys or pencils or puzzle pieces and clothes are the worse things ever. I am extreme in most areas but just so damn lazy lol.

I have that exact rug. They really are impossible to clean. I shake mine out pretty frequently when it's on the floor, and it still traps things. I haven't put it back out since I moved. It's one saving grace is that it can go in the washing machine.

It's so cute! But it's a love hate relationship because it catches every spec of crumbs!

I do this twice a year. closets, and boxes in basement. amazing how much I thrown away or donated. don't know why I saved it. kept all car magazines.

That's a good idea to do it twice a year! I'm going to have to start doing it atleast that often.

Did we all think those shag rugs were the tops? We were all brian washed and bought into carpet that you cannot walk on and really impossible to keep clean. I put those stupid tiny wheels on children's scooters into how dumb box too. Miss out the trends to stay sane.

Right! My daughter got the rainbow fuzzy rug as a Christmas gift a few years ago. It was super cute at first but it was impossible to keep clean! It was too shaggy to vaccume with out it trying to suck up into the vaccume 🤦🏼‍♀️
