The most precious thing I personally seen in this documentary was a grown man blowing bubbles to calm a sick, stressed baby. What a beautiful sight and man. You can tell he genuinely cares for his patients.

The baby that got burned made me so sad. Burns are one of the highest pain levels someone can feel & for a baby who can't understand what's happening...breaks my heart.

Fahim and Neeta are prime examples of not just good, but excellent doctors. I really respect the fact that Neeta opened up about how having a baby impacted her work. It’s essential that doctors can be honest with themselves and reflect on any weaknesses throughout their careers. I don’t have children but if I did and they became ill, I’d hope for docs like these two lovely individuals!

Nita is amazing, her bleeper went off at one point and she explained how when she gets an emergency call from the Neo natal ward she runs as fast as she can but only to get there and her assistance is not needed. (CAMERA MAN) "Did you need to run that fast?" NITA, "Yes off course i did (ITS A BABY)every second i slow down is potentially a breath that baby didn't take" what an amazing human being. we have footballers on hundreds of thousands of pounds a week yet we have Nitas all over the country saving lives for pittance, under immense pressure and quite frankly do not get close to the same respect that someone gets for kicking a football across the field. it really makes you think! :-(

That poor kid with the burns... in the hospital I worked at we used to sedate the kids for the treatment. In my eyes the least thing you could do because it hurts so fricking much...

Oh my heart breaks for the baby with the burns and his parents. The parents were so visibly upset and panicked. Thankfully, the baby won’t remember the pain but the parents will always carry that.

Fahim thought his heart was beating on his second lumber punch......mine was pumping at 200bpm 😂. Very well done!

I cried too much during this....especially the poor baby getting that giant needle stuck in her back

The moment with the burn made me cry. I got a terrible burn on my leg when I was around 9-10 years old and while in recovery I couldn't even step on that leg without holding onto something. Had to go to the hospital every day to redress it too and the pain was so terrible for me then, I cannot even imagine how it can be for a baby who does not understand yet why he is in so much pain. Hope he recovered well and doesn't remember any of it anymore.

In the US we have doctors & nurses being put in too long shifts as well. I always wonder if it's dangerous for them to have little to no sleep & potentially having peoples' lives in their hands.

As a working Mum, seeing Neeta have to balance leaving her little one and helping others through her career is such a welcome representation

I have always been intrested in healthcare. I've also done jobs that help people. I currently work as a teaching assistant in a special needs school and I'd love to progress further in my career by gaining a degree. I cant decide!!

God bless those that work in burns units…that was a unit I said I would never EVER work on after I graduated nursing school…I wouldn’t be able to take it 😭😭❤️

Their are like saints sacrificing themselves for others and in return this sick system will chew, drain and destroy them in time. One doctor and ward full of kids that need constant care pushed to mental and physical limits. And worst is politician in charge dont care, it always same story of system pushed to limits until some tragedy happen and then they stand in lines before cameras pushing tear and babling how they fix it ASAP for PR but in the end nothing change, new day new story everything is forgotten.

That burned baby was just heartbreaking when in pain. Why don’t they give him meds? He was suffering so much..I can not imagine being the parent.

Yeah. I have courage and love for my patients, especially terminal patients. Only God give us the hope, faith and love. It's a vocation, not a job. It's our lives, not a job It's the fight against to the corrupt system.

I wish my nephew would have had such attentive and proactive measures as given by these medical professionals. He was born at 35 weeks after my sis n law’s water had broken earlier. He weighed 4 pounds. He passed 5 days later of sepsis.

I am not sure why they waited to give the steroid the croupy baby until she was much worse, that was silly! In the US that baby would have gotten a dose of Decadron immediately, and possibly Raecemic Epi nebulizer as well, as she had strider at rest.
