It’s one thing to create a thrust vectoring mount with a flight computer, but it’s a whole different level when you create an app to control it. That’s incredible dude!
Such a beautiful design.. You take great strides to have both form and function work and look great.. One suggestion.. anytime you need to secure wires or connections from separation due to heat/vibration, etc. use heat shrink wraps.. they are very inexpensive, look professional and will last for far longer than the tape. Great job!
Van's Videos same, but in this video he kind of shows how it works which gives anyone with a bit of determination (prob more than I have) a pretty good base to start off of.
please make this open source. 350$ for the pcb is a little steep. I understand you have overhead costs but most of us are just budget minded enthusiasts
@@antonbriggs5680 Most of the people interested in this already have 3D printers. I realized that he also includes the 3D parts and servos so I can understand his price more than before.
WOW WOW WOW!!!! ok stopping here. did u just use a power drill on those tiny m3.5 screws and when it bottomed out, just kept on drivn? stripped. next vid
Does your software, and flight computer work with any servo? So if I had my own mount, and servos with the same connectors, your software will work? Thanks
Good Day to you sir..Im an education student and love to play with rockets..but the problem is I dont know how to start up...what book should I read, especially in guidance and stabilization system..
Just a shot in the dark; have you thought of using stepper motors as an alternative to servo motors? They are a bit more challenging to incorporate into your system, but I believe they will provide smoother and more accurate actuation. Would like to hear your thoughts on that!
You can download 3d printed files of tvc from k nine technology channel . I am also building it . 😇 if you need any help with flight computer and flight software. U cn watch my channel .or msg me 😇
Not necessarily. A gyroscope could keep track of the rockets rotation and just rotate the thrust vector accordingly. The rocket would still rotate, but it wouldn't effect it's trajectory (as long as it's not too fast for the servos to keep up).
To achieve this you can. (1) Create a brass disc 12 inch diameter 1 inch thick (1a) Drill holes in the disc insert barrel magnets with north pole to outside edge. (2) Create a brass disc 12 inch diameter 1 inch thick (2a) Drill a hole 5/8 inch by 4 inches (from the outer ring toward center axis) every 60 degrees. (1b) insert ( 1/2 inch X 1 inch) barrel magnet into all 6 holes. (2c) There must be room for magnets to slide. (2d) Insert ( 5/8 inch X 1/4 inch) graphite plugs. (3) Place disc inside of brass ring with an inside diameter of 12 and 1/8 in (3a) Mount around the outer ring electrical magnets every 45 degrees. (3b) 8 electrical magnets at. ( 1) North),( 2) North East ),( 3 )East),(4)South East) ,(5)South),(6)South West),(7)West),(8)North West) (4) . When energized putting the gyro out of balanced creating a forward thrust. (4a) Depending on which electrical magnet is energized . Concerning Gravity created by centrifugal force. (1) Because gravity and magnetic flux are unrelated. (2) We can consider using a balanced wheel, with freely mounted magnets ( a) With north poles facing outward (b) on outer edge (c) mounted in side a framework (3) With permanently mounted electral magnets in frame (a) with the north poles toward the wheel in different locations around edges of said wheel (b) As the wheel spins creating centrifugal force (c) power added to the electrical magnet (4) Will cause the centrifugal energy to flow to opposite side of the wheel causing vehicle to move in that direction. You can use this configeration to shift the center of the wheels gravity thus creating foward thrust which can be aimed in any direction. Which can in effect Defeat gravity.
I think you already know about a channel called Canine Rocket Technologies Watch this video : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S7yW75RWK4c.html In this video wich you want as to be your future TVC Mount .
