Everything works great ! I don't use the clunch so the swap was without compromise and the feeling it's much better. I can now control more my input than before !
Thanks for the video, I wanted a look into the unit before I broke mine open, exactly what I was looking for. You should definitely invest in a quality drill with a good clutch though.
I opened my brake pedal because it was hitting 70% max. Now when i press the brake, no imput js registered by my playstatio... I saw the gear of the pedal was moving, but the white gear that is attached to the cable, doesn't move with the black gear. I think this happened while replacing the brake pedal. Any tips? Or did I just screw it?
thx. i could have saved some time. i was in the process of inverting my pedals and with inverting pedals i wuldnt have needed to open the clutch, now throttle. but thx for showing me how to open and swap springs
I did this and my brake pedal won't go past 30% now. Electronics are touchy and something got screwed up while it was apart. Be prepared to take that risk I guess
I have a problem. My brake pedal broke while I was driving...and you can see from above that the spring is no longer fixed at the top of the pedal, but loose...can this spring be reattached to the upper pedal?P:S Ive openend the pedals, and ive seen that this spring was broken....Now ive ordered a new spring.
Pretty sure that was all for nothing. And people are breaking their pedals over this. The pedals are designed to also be used inverted. Hang down from a rig. That means your clutch becomes your gas and visa versa. So the springs are the same. If you ever see a T300 and that little red light on it is shining green instead. That means the wheel is in inverted mode. Gas becomes clutch, clutch becomes gas. So pretty sure the springs are the exact same. Only differance can be is that you wore out the gas spring more then the clutch.
You could have mentioned that the calibration of the pedal will also get all fucked after doing this and that there is no way to re-calibrate them. I have to switch back now...
I tried this ( thanks for not showing how hard iit is to put in the break buffer, my breaks stopped working after I did this. Total thumbs down, bummer you shoiwed how to switched springs but left out the hardest part/!!!!!
