My clutch paddles are working fine. They function fust like your food paddles (gas and brake). My problem is that it is very difficult to setup. There is not one manual witch does explain everything but you must download at least 4 or 5 manuals to get all the information about the installation. There is no mention about the "Connect Portal" app witch manages the wifi of the wheel. There you can change the wifi-connection of the SF1000. But where you must enter this info i don't know. Updating the firmware works if you are lucky. If you follow the manual you are directed from pdf to pdf. The firmware did produce an error every time. Only the firmware update program in Start did work. Why then do you have to download a firmware witch does not work? My display still does not work. It did work for a short time but then i changed the wifi on the Connect Portal and then it did not work anymore. Request to Thrustmaster: PLEASE MAKE YOUR INSTALLATION PROCESS EASYER !!!
Thats the TX wheel base right? Have you ever had any issues with yours? Been looking at getting one but some reviews say theirs broke after a few months.
hello, I know the video was made a long time ago but I need some very important information, first of all, what basis did you take for the steering wheel of the sf1000? I have an xbox and I can't find any base compatible with this steering wheel. second thing, what pedal do you use? and lastly, what mount do you use for the pedals and steering wheel? I would really appreciate it if you could give me an answer as fast as possible, thank you very much
Thank u for your video. Im about to buy SF1000 but its interesting what you said about ( the only different is the display) So my question is: is it the same quality in SF1000 vs the old one ? Lets say I dont care so much about display but about quality. What do you think?
@@racing4fun384 No I didnt. I change my mind and I will buy something from Fanatec. Just look at Thrustmaster: Plastic, SF100 - Plastic …what should I said…700€ for Some TM Base + SF1000. For that money I will get something from Fanatec, even if I have to put 200€ more on top.
Yeah guys I figured it out later I had just gotten it and did not figure out anything juts made a video to show it off out of excitement. It’s over a month I have it and it’s nice but not worth the 500€ I payed for. And the paddles make so much noise but i modded them.
Not sure we will have to wait and see hopefully not because it was a pain in the ass specifically because I have a Mac and you have to run boot camp to update the thrustmaster stuff
It might not work at the start but it wont be the wheel's problem if it doesnt but the game's, it may need an update for compatibility with the wheel but you dont have to worry about that
When I see this video. It cemented my decision not to buy!!! For the love of god. Thank you! A real brother advice with brain. I took your advice and put a sim dashboard on my Android instead on Open Wheel Add on. Wish I can put the photo here and show you guys! Save money and buy other important thing in life as the sf1000 cost as much as t300. Good advice! Mature decision making.
U need to read the manual before doing this video..clutch will work depending on your middle rotary settings. Kudos on the shifter pedal sound too loud, agree with it. Seeing how this video is few months old you should upload a new one to address any wrong infos u give here XD
First of all you say the only difference between these two wheels are that this one has a screen, ok i’ll give you a reminder sf1000 every button works. Now lets look at the Old wheel 50% of the buttons aren’t even real and it made out of what. Yes you guessos it plastic atleast the sf1000 isn’t just made out of plastic and the loud click on the shifters is just a positive click if you have a problem with it buy the chrono paddles and there you go and one more thing just set the button to 4 and your clutch paddles work. Ok happy now?
@@MFRin2theSim you have to do some tuning it's technical and have to find the right set-up,when you find what right for you I'm sure you will be happy.
You really should perform better research before making incorrect statements like 'the clutch paddles are pointless'. It doesn't lend your videos any credibility.
Bro but u know clutch on the F1 sterring wheel is completely different than it is normally? Its supposed to be easy to press and be smooth. Also saying there is so much irrevelant buttons is making me laugh just write in the google „thrustmaster sf1000 f1 button setup” and just set it up like that. And btw when u do it right u dont have to set up the wheel evertime u get in the game so please next time do some research and read the instructions i have this wheel and its working really good i also had the version with no screen and for me it was an big quality upgrade. Can u stop deleting my comments i just want to let people know how good this wheel really is.
