Thrustmaster T500RS Static Paddle Shifter Removal -- Factory Approved

www.insidesimra... presents our tutorial on how to remove the fixed shifters from a Thrustmaster T500RS wheel. Anyone that has a separate shifter, or either of the add on wheels from Thrustmaster will be interested in how to do this. A viewer pointed out to us that in the FAQ section at Thrustmaster there are instructions on how to do this. THIS WILL NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY! In this video we show you how to this is only a few easy steps. The project will only take about 5 minutes to finish.

I know I'm necroposting, but wouldn't it be preferable to be able to remove the shifter paddles on the wheel and keep the static ones?

What I'm trying to say is that having the fixed shifters allows for a higher degree of customization.. It's just a case of what you find more important, customization or being perfect the out of the box. But I guess that when you want customization you'd buy a g27.. xD

Does anyone knows how to fix the gear shifter, but of the Ferrari wheel the one that is with the wheel not in the base like in this case, the thing is the interruptor that is inside of the paddle is stuck, doesn't click, you know the sound that used to made it's no longer doing it so...

I would recommend to wait until the Customer-Version release in one year. 1080p is still not good enough but at least much better than the current dev-Kit and since it is a developer kit I don't feel like it should be reviewed as it is.

So you prefer having a wheel that has force feedback fade problems because the motors are to cheap The T500RS is built like a tank with quality components.

If I put the T300 steering wheel on the T500 and remove the static paddles will the buttons map correctly on the PS4? Currently the T500 stock steering wheels buttons don't map in the menus of the PS4 - only in game.

Please help, I have the flyer t500 rs and I do not know what happens to him, I'm playing normally, and only without me doing anything, he pauses, and the force of the steering wheel is lost, and when he vuvlevo crushes to continue playing The force returns, but minutes later it is put back pause, what can be happening? Already and tried restarting the play, disconnecting the steering wheel, but nothing !!

Hey guys really random question, but I am thinking of importing a g27 wheel from america - and I want to mod it so that It will accept a real sparco steering wheel onto it. Is this possible?? thanks in advance!!

Motors are to cheap? No matter what review of the fanatec clubsport you are looking for, the result is always the same: high quality and high presision. I read of some broken ones too, but thats what warranty for.

RFactor 2 (easily 1st, not even a competition), Game Stock Car Extreme (2nd), IRacing a distant 3rd, and a closer 3rd if you look on the iR forums and edit some settings.

Nothing, the wheel is probably good, but to fix the shifters on the base is/was just a horrible idea. I like a product that is well thougt out (sorry about my english).

Why even buy a T500 in first place. I wouldn´t have faith in a company that build such a thing. I prefer the fanatec clubsport.

who designed such an disaster? when the paddles wouldn't be fixed, I would by an T500RS. Now, I am more interested in an G29.

+dubtube You can remove those.. you can also get rims that have paddles attached to them. T300 is the way to go now

+Inside Sim Racing that is correct. But I don't want to spend €500 for a steering wheel and buy a second steering wheel without pedals. This doesn't make sense to me. The problem with the T 300 are the cheesy pedals And the pro pedals from the T500 are sold out in Germany :/

+dubtube the g29 is the way to go its like 200 euro now i think? but not many ps4 game's support it as itis a new product. but many upcoming games will support the g29.

g29 is quite shitty wheel, now they're shipping t300 with the alcantara rim and t3pa pedals, so that's the way to go, but for drift t500 is still better
