The local team were completely outclassed as Thistle (with a number of fringe players selected) ran riot. 5-0 up at h-t, there was no let-up in the 2nd half. Charlie Smith (2 pens) and Mullin scored hat-tricks. Rae (T) and McQuade scored twice and Docherty scored once as Thistle won their section.
