Thanks for this video. It reminded me how to install the bike rack .. The trick was that +/- screw to get the handle down. I forgot about that. 🤩

I noticed that between 3:24 and 3:26 there is a gap, which is crucial for me :) How were you able to intall the bike rack finally? I am experiencing exactly the same issue, as I am not able to close the resistance knob. As far as I noticed initially you also were not able to close this knob but finally you managed. My question is how? :)

I had to put the camera aside because I had a problem with it too, that's why there is a gap in the film. You have to use a lot of force there to close it, but before I did it, I set the extreme positions of the knob that you can see in 2:54 . Besides, I moved the whole thing up and down to set right position to close it. This little knob under the handle regulates the closing force.

This Thule Velocompact 926 fit perfectly flat in the trunk even with adapter for additional 4th bike ( Model: VeloCompact 4th Bike Adapter 9261 )

I can't get the handle down. What's the trick?

This same problem its show at 2:40 . Below handle bar you have knob for adjusting the force with which the bicycle rack is held on the hook. If its too tight you can't get the handle down.

@@savvasvamvakidis8412 It looks like you have broken adjustment or set in one position where this knob can't change. If this new one go to seller for support or use hammer to check if this regulation its not blocked.

Hi Thanks for video. I would like to buy same bikes holder and I have same car as it is on video (Hyundai Tsucon). Yesterday I went to on of the authorized shop here in my town to check how its fits on my car. We found out that this U back part, better say top of this part of holder is really close to back door And we didn't have installed tis small holders which holds bikes. On the end of the video you are shaking holder. My question is if the holder is not hitting back door. Because we experienced it during our installation test. Thanks for answer.

The holder is not hitting back door even I try very hard shaking. When driving, it does not shake as shown in the video.

The bikes shouldn’t wobble! Tighten them at the wheels!

Do you have any issues with the U-shaped lever slanting away from the car when driving as fast as 100 kmph? (doesn't happen with lower speeds) It doesn't matter how strong you tighten the knobs. Seems like a common problem among users.

I do not notice any slanting U-shaped lever while driving. I will be paying attention from now on and will do an update on this post soon.

Cześć, czy znalazłeś rozwiązanie? Niestety mam ten sam problem, rama składa mi się podczas jazdy a rowery się odchylają od samochodu. Musiałem już się kilka razy zatrzymy żeby je poprawić. Byłbym wdzięczny za odpowiedź:)

@@jasieniek983 nope, I haven't. I'm thinking about mounting the lever the other way around - contrary to what the manual says.

@@TomaszMarcinkowski , I've also considered mounting it the other way round. Unfortunately, because of the profile of the U- shaped frame it won't work. Moreover somehow I think it s done on purpose from Thule that is moving a bit. Otherwise it' d break by stronger powers. When I open a trailer it also moves back. I photographed it and I'm planning to send an email to Thule asking for support. Greets, Jan
