So true madam. I am from Madurai. And in our chitharai thiruvizha festival we have a similar epic, where Azagar (form of lord Perumal) returns back to his place after coming to Madurai for his sisters wedding, he visits Tuluka Nachiyar a Muslim lady who is said to be his friend.

God is there definitely.... Because marigold ku tamil la thulukkamalli nu peru irukku, athu samikku padaikka maatom in tamil temples. I was searching the name of the flower 🌺 since I forgot it. Appo thullaka malli nu result kaatitu intha samiyoda photo next google searches la vanthuchu. Ennada peru vithyasamaa irukkae nu nianichen but intha sami peru manasula ninaichen thoongurathuku munnadi. Suprising ah today sowrnamalya sis oda channel la itha pathi pesirukaanga.... God is great. I think she (Thullaka natchiar) God is making me to listen about her.... Or she has something to tell to me ❤❤❤❤

There is a story around the Orlov Diamond (currently in the Hermitage Museum of St Petersburg, Russia ; as a part of the Russian Tsar (King) regalia jewels), which is said to be one of the eyes or at least a part of the ornamentation of Ranganatha Vigraha in Srirangam temple. It is said to have been robbed by a French army renegade of the 17th century. Who, in its vagaries, simulated to have been converted (at least interested) to Vaishnavism and approached the Srirangam temple with the aim of robbing the said diamond. This event is said - It's the version I remember to have eared of - to be the reason for this restriction in the temple access.
