I watched maybe a half-dozen other Thuma assembly videos before finding yours which showed the actual nitty gritty details of assembling the frame. And you offer a critique of the soft headboard with an actual demonstration of leaning back on it. Thanks for being the real deal. And kinda funny to boot! 😊

I just assembled this with the help of this video. It took more than 5 minutes for sure,but I still appreciate the fact there's no screws except for the 2. I bought it used for $800 with the nightstand. It is solid. Let's see how well I sleep tonight!!

Just assembled mine. Very high quality. After a lot of reviewing of competitors I think its probably accurately priced. Any more would lose me. The headboard could be higher especially if you are over 5’ 10”. Very solid frame. Im happy.

Tell us the pro and cons of the bed. And how sturdy is it from scale of 1- 10? Will it shake or move or make noise when you have activity in the bed?

It's like going back in time to gain advanced engineering concepts. "In the Day" long ago, there were no Ryobi cordless drills, Kreg jigs, plastic of any sort, or chemical plants producing modern glue. Joinery, particularly Japanese and Chinese, was one of the engineering techniques developed for furniture and building construction. I'm looking this bed over because it's like a /headslap. Of course. Who has to have hardware kits when you can just do this? Thanks for the video.

How do you feel about the “headboard” cushion. I wish it had slots to go into to stay put. Have you noticed issues of it moving constantly or waking up and it’s off the bed? Also, any mattress will work (i know you need your size. But if it’s a queen, any queen will work? TIA

Unless you’ve seen one of these up close and know better, it doesn’t look that stable to me. Also, it doesn’t look like the headboard is attached, but rather sits on top of the frame at the head. If you need the bed out from the wall a bit, like in the video for the electrical outlet, I’d think the headboard might slip off the edge. That’s my take just from what I can see from the video. The price ($1,281.64 incl. tax) seems high for a mass production item, but I don't know what kind of wood it is (I doubt true walnut). I haven't priced hardwood (especially walnut) lately.

How does it look all made-up? The ads make the frame look pretty but they also have a tight comforter and who does that? So I figured in actual use it’s just a wood frame… no one will see the nice bits. ?

This video convinced me to not waste my money. The shaking bed is exactly what I want to avoid. Thank you for actually demonstrating its function; it saved me time, money, and sanity.

I really wanna buy one of the thuma beds but Im still undecided, its because of the price and the size, I’m 6,5 and I don’t know if this bed would be perfect, I bought two different beds in the last 3 years and both have been just like 2 foot shorter which has been a problem to me ;( what would you recommend ? PD: does the mattress come with the bed or not?

Is the bed squeaky/noisy when tossing or turning during sleep? Is the bed frame still solid and stable after almost 1 year?

That foot shaking at 14:13 concerns me about the quality of this frame.

I can't quite tell, but does the mattress come with the bed? On the website, they list a mattress. I just can't tell if they are separate costs or if the cost includes the whole thing including the mattress.

Do we need to add some Non-Slippery Padding underneath the Bed legs to avoid slipping the bed on a hardwood surface? If yes does anyone know the good padding company which fits the thuma bed legs according to its size

Does the head board piece connect of just sit behind it?

Did anyone put something between slats and mattress to prevent splinters? The slat wood is pretty raw

You could make one of these for less than a hundred bucks. Parts are probable 75 bucks including stains. You could pay someone 100 bucks to do it and still pay less than 200.

I recently bought a Thuma mattress and the mattress smelled like rubber months after, as of now they are telling me that I cannot get a refund. This product is obviously defective and off gassing. DISHONEST COMPANY!
