Could you tell me who the translator is or the source for this particular translation? I’ve been searching through a few translations and none of them are as good as this one. Quality work btw.

Hi! This is the version from “Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Andersen” available on Apple Books and in the public domain. There’s no credit listed for a translator unfortunately 📕

Hi JJ! The noise you can hear is bird song laid underneath the track. Have you tried listening with headphones?

Tranquil bird song in the woods is very relaxing. The ambient sound goes well with this particular story. I thought its volume was just right, in the background.
