An extraordinary traditional dance festival was recently held at the school ground of Malabe Adharsha Vidyalaya. The event which was presented by Professor Ariyarathne Kaluarachchi, The veteran educationist and artist was attended by more than 5000 students, parents and teachers.
The Yakkam of Kandyan, Low country and Sabaragamuwa dance forms were presented at this unique event which was meant to enhance the knowledge of the students who are studying dance as the subject as well as teachers.
The full event was filmed by HTV and will be telecast March 2018 onward.
