Spurs fan here, and not part of the hater culture. Great interview, great season and like our boy, I wish this kid health and a long and prosperous career.
@@warhammerfaction It’s time to be real with Trae though. He just is not a good two-way player. He and Klay have occasional great games but for what you would have to pay him, he’s not worth it. SA has to build with patience, luck and skill. Right now they only really have two stars.
Chet “OklaHolmgren” What a class act he is! Great interview! This OKC team is built different. I’m proud to be born in the 405 and….. we’re back!!! TTFU SGA=MVP
Man I remember watching him in high school versus Emoni Bates, that was a huge game at the time. And I wondered if this guy would be good. He's one of the best rookies I've ever seen
This was fantastic not only being an Oklahoman and seeing our guy Chet in the interview but I tune into all the boardroom stuffs and this didn’t disappoint! What a fantastic interview and the questions were fantastic!
Never forget about that OG squad. But he’s right this team gives the same feeling that the ‘12 team gave off. We will always love that old squad. But Chet, shai, giddey, dub, Lu are our future and we’re ready for it Thunder up⚡️🌩️⛈️⛈️⛈️ A storms coming.
I've been saying this for a while now that you shouldn't look at solely the stats but you should look at what that player has done for his team before you proclaim someone rookie of the Year. Chet has taken this team from a team that didn't even make the playoffs last year to the number one seed in the playoffs this year his numbers are historical even beyond Wembys but the Media was so in love with Wemby that they covered him and his losing team over Chet and the team that he took to the playoffs
@@PoopTasteLikeShit Well obviously your name suits you because you seem to be full of it!! Wemby did nothing for his team OKC had that same MVP caliber player you're talking about in Shai which yes he is MVP caliber and they didn't make it to the playoffs last year with Shai and yet they are the number one seed in the Western conference this year with Chet. The San Antonio Spurs were 22 and 60 the year before they drafted Victor the San Antonio Spurs were 22 and 60 this year with Victor. So tell me once again how much did he improve that team?
If Sam Presti is smart he will refrain from making a big move. Chemistry in a young team is both rare and fragile at the same time and they have it right now! Let them grow together! let them experience the playoff so they can start to understand what it takes and keep building around these you guys through the draft. If you trade the picks for an older star who has an ego then it could mess everything up. Have faith in these young guys!
I'd trade some 1st round picks to get the #1 pick next year to get Cooper Flagg. Holmgren and Flagg together on defense would be elite. Shai , Chet , Cooper on offense wouid be fire.
@@808bboarderI'd trade some to get Cooper Flagg next year. Flagg will be elite and easily one of the best players of this super young generation just like Chet.
hopefully a championship is on its way this year as a lifelong OKC fan. if it doesn’t, this team will forsure get one in the next couple years. too much potential and skills not too
how? i have $200 on a 2 leg parlay (OKC win conference finals, OKC win championship) and it pays $13,000. placed the bet before season started so max odds. how did you only spend $100?
I think okc learned from Kds foot injury to take their time returning Chet. Also his body type (tall and lanky) seem to fair better with lower extremity injuries vs a body like Zion and Embiid.
The Linc. Obviously Abe Lincoln. And also the missing Link that opened up OKC's game and made them No. 1 in the West. Chet Code. Just unfair the skill and size combination.
No way he asked if he thinks it’s unfair to put him being on a better team as a disadvantage on ROY, as if not 10 minutes before Chet admitted sitting out last summer was a huge advantage 💀
I liked the interview, the only thing that annoyed me was the part about how the Thunder do their post game interviews and how no other team does that. The Grizzlies have been doing that for like the past 3 seasons.
