I’m From Thunder Bay. It’s exceptionally beautiful. And there is always bears around We have no aspen trees. Poplar trees may look like them. I’ve actually canoed up north on the old Hudson Bay route. Mount McKay was 13:28 named after my ancestor James McKay. I leave in Kakabeka. The falls are incredible. So glad u got to Enjoy our region. 🙏
Thanks for visiting, hope you enjoyed your stay. I've lived here most of my life and no I would not walk across that bridge. Maybe when I was young as I didn't have the fear of heights I developed as I got older.
Hi if you go to the sleeping giat keep going to the top of the sleeping giant there is a look out where you see the grain ships they look like dinky toy boats there is also the Old Fort William and there is also the falls
Ouimet canyon. 1000 kilometers to the floor. Nope, that is so far off it is crazy. It is not even 1 km deep. Top of tallest mountain to bottom of deepest ocean is 9000m + 11000m = 20 kilometers. On checking the canyon is less than 100m. What the sign is saying is that the flora at the bottom of the canyon is equivalent to that found 1000km north. So going to the bottom of the canyon is like traveling 1000km north.
Hi I am thinking to visit .. are there lots of coffee shops and fast food restaurants alontthe streets down there ..which motel or so did you all stay at or can recommend?? I would like to explore all or most of the places you posted here excapt maybe the first stop which dont really appeal to me
They're a wild berry that grows around here. The blueberries she was showing around the part about Mount McKay are real blueberries. The ones they showed by Ouimet canyon are inedible...super bitter and I don't think there's much wildlife that eats them either
