Great band, guitarplayer Luke Morley writes almost every song. Thunder was and still is popular in the UK. With a few years hiatus they are still alive and kicking. 'Low Life in High Places' is one of their famous songs also outside the UK.
Yes indeed - Thunder are still quite popular in the UK (and beyond), after all these years... And interestingly, in the last few years, the band obviously started playing to 'arena sized' crowds in the UK, which is something they never previously did, when they had a much bigger profile (during the early to mid 90s). For me, 'Low Life in High Places', is probably their best song - was also the first one I heard by them.

Thunder were not very big in the U.S. They started in the late 80's or early 90's I think though being in the U.S. I discovered them late. I had heard of them but not heard them until about 10 years ago and now I think I have most if not all their albums and they have a new one coming out soon. Great band.
