Thunder Dolphin is an outdoor Intamin steel mega coaster built in 2003 at the Laqua Tokyo Dome City, in the heart of urban Tokyo, Japan.
The coaster train begins the through a hill lift dominating much of the mall’s skyline, it does two loops around the building perimeter, running right through the roof and the external façade of the shopping mall and at times even going through parts of the building walls.
There are some unique elements such as a “slow wave roll” track segment on one of the roof top segments of the coaster course.
