Brilliant video as usual. Minor point: At 2:02:26 Lincoln can't place 2 dice on the command board as only one dice can be assigned per round. However this had no impact as Lincoln could have used a remaining command token ( which can be placed once per turn) as he still has an unused one at the end of the game. Just info for those playing just the base game without Choppe Shoppe expansion.
20:10 regarding max movement. I've never read in the rulebook there's a maximum on movement. If I assign a 6 and nitro for 3, I'm moving 9 spaces, not 6.
Awesome! I backed the Maximum Chrome edition of Thunder Road Vendetta, and it is one of the very few Kickstarter that meet the promise of the campaign, and even more rare, it completely exceeded my expectations. TRV was my game of 2023, and having backed the Carnival of Chaos, I'm excited for more! A few small rules corrections: 1:52 Nick heals his small vehicle and moves it on the same action. You're supposed to assign the vehicle dice before activating the command board. The main reason for this is to stop you from doing exactly what Nick did! Oops. Also, at some point, someone is trying to place a helicopter and seems to struggle to find a place they can shoot from. The helicopter can be placed on any space without another piece or token, so it can be placed on a mountain or other impassable terrain.
Could not believe blue reminded himself of his power to reroll misses then the next time (literally 5 minutes later) he shoots at Nikki he misses and forgets to reroll again
Question because I have never played this. At 56:50 he goes into the mud but wouldn’t he not be able to since he only had 1 movement left? Wouldn’t that have forced him to collide into the wall? Or was he able to since he used nitro?
Love this game and so fun to watch others play as well! Slight error I believe at 20:00 - maximum move value is not 6. Nitro can increase movement to be above 6. Page 12.
Love the Chaos and the bros Murph - great game quite expensive here in UK (on release later in year) but looks a bucket full of fun and has lots of kit in that could have been sold as expansions
Hazards with an "X" in the corner are removed after activating. So that mine early in the game should have been removed from the board. Thematically it makes sense since a mine cannot explode over and over again.
